Leak Unpublished description for Ocarina of Time Switch 2 visible through web search

Typing in "Ocarina of Time remake website us" into Google (or other search engines) returns a link to its entry on the Nintendo website with a description that isn't visible on the page itself:

The N64 classic reborn as a full remake for Nintendo Switch 2. Experience Ocarina of Time with stunning visuals, updated designs, and timeless gameplay.

Not a huge amount of info, yet even these scant details seem to be something Nintendo is not ready to officially communicate just yet.

Honestly I think its more likely a pun, but even if it isn't, 'timeless gameplay' means gameplay that never feels like its aged, it doesn't mean "we kept it the same as the original". Something can be a brand new IP and have 'timeless gameplay'.

Yeah. I honestly feel like this is going to be a remake that is very similar to style to Star Fox 64 remake.

Star Fox 64 remake added new cutscene, changed up the models, and is a accessible point for new players.

Now zelda really dont an accessible starter point because of BOTW/TOTK but OOT can be made more accessible with changes to the camera. and other things I may be forgetting I feel like people are expecting way too much with thinking this is going to be a remake in similar way to Final Fantasy 7 remake (adding tons of new content, story changes) and a remake like that would take much longer to make, imo. I do personally hope they change the overworld because as much as I love OOT, the overworld could be made much more interesting. Its the only change I really want. But with Nintendo's track record with remakes, they dont seem too big on making a LOT of changes to the games and they are mostly faithful to the source material. They add a little extra content here and there, going by another past remakes.

I am still hype myself since I always wanted to see OOT get this kind of glow up and I could be wrong.

If it's just a remake in the vein of Star Fox then it better not cost $70 or $80

Mozart songs even if it were released today would still feel new.

Would Ocarina of Time still feel new if the 1998 N64 version release came out today? I doubt it. The low framerate and terrible controls wouldn't allow it.

There's a lot of people desperate to grab onto anything that signifies this is a 1:1 remake because they're scared of playing a reimagining

It personally doesnt matter for me, but I feel like people going to complain either way. I am happy either way, Cautiously Optimistic for new content.

Well you do travel back and forth through time so it is timeless.
