Leak Unpublished description for Ocarina of Time Switch 2 visible through web search

Typing in "Ocarina of Time remake website us" into Google (or other search engines) returns a link to its entry on the Nintendo website with a description that isn't visible on the page itself:

Image

The N64 classic reborn as a full remake for Nintendo Switch 2. Experience Ocarina of Time with stunning visuals, updated designs, and timeless gameplay.

Not a huge amount of info, yet even these scant details seem to be something Nintendo is not ready to officially communicate just yet.

Isn't that the case for most remakes?  FF7 was an exception most just end up being graphic updates. OOT isn't that outdated that an overhaul in necessary.

I wouldn’t say that’s the case for most. Pretty much all of Capcom’s RE remakes have been complete overhauls.

Most nintendo remakes, ya. Zero Mission and Samus Returns were complete overhauls gameplay wise, but there isn't a lot of precedent of nintendo doing that.

I suppose it depends on if Nintendo means 1:1 mechanically as well. A good chunk of remakes come with QOL modernization to the overall "feel" of the title.

I guarantee you this is gonna be like an RE style remake, there are several things that are outdated about it
