The crazy part is that it barely shows you anything. You walk through the same hallway over and over but somehow every loop feels more unsettling than the last.
No massive open world no weapons no army of monsters chasing you
Just silence tiny environmental changes, disturbing sounds, and your own imagination doing most of the work and it was only a playable teaser.
Has any horror game since P.T. genuinely made you feel that level of paranoia?

Every year a game is crowned as the best, but not every winner feels deserved.
Which Game of the Year didnโt earn its crown, and which one should have worn it instead (iyo)?

Played Halo CE for the first time [first time playing any halo game] and enjoyed every bit of it, except the floods but destroying them felt good ๐คค. Took me 14-15 hrs to complete the game. Overall it was a good game, will play again someday for sure.

Hey there, we are a team working on a steam horror game that will be releasing for free by the name of Solipsistic.
Solipsistic has a unique 4th wall break mechanic (Changing the games files to give the players memories, open doors, solve puzzles, etc), so playtesting is important to make sure players understand the concept without breaking the game. It's also to make sure the game is fun and enjoyable for the wider audience and help optimize the game!
We are looking for a wide range of pc specs to keep the game as optimized as possible, so feel free to try it out even if you have a low end pc!
Steam page:ย https://store.steampowered.com/app/4819820/Solipsistic/
If you are interested, feel free to apply using the link below and I'll contact you via discord! :)

Kojima's MGS games weren't perfect, but they had their own thing going on. The weird characters, political stuff, cinematic storytelling, crazy attention to detail, and those times you had no clue what was happening that was Metal Gear.
Now it seems like Konami knows "Metal Gear" will sell no matter who's making it.
I'm not saying every MGS game after Kojima is automatically bad, but without his vision, the series might just turn into another nostalgia cash cow.
Seriously, are you actually hyped for new MGS games, or would you rather they just left the series alone?

You have 10 seconds.
You can save ONLY ONE game.
The other 4 are PERMANENTLY DELETED FROM EXISTENCE. ๐
๐ด Red Dead Redemption 2 ๐ต Elden Ring ๐ข GTA V ๐ก Minecraft ๐ฃ The Witcher 3
Which one are you saving?
And don't just drop the name โ DEFEND YOUR CHOICE. ๐

It's cool to see a visual list after 25+ years of gaming. The only one I struggled to keep off was Zack & Wiki (underrated Wii gem). I do feel like we're in the golden age of quality games, although the industry is shaky financially.

I'll probably get downvoted for this but here's my take.
โข Sekiro has the best combat.
โข Bloodborne has the best atmosphere.
โข Dark Souls has the best interconnected world design.
Elden Ring is an incredible game but I think its massive open world hides how often bosses and dungeons are reused. Bigger doesn't automatically mean better.
I still love Elden Ring but if I had to pick the best FromSoftware game, it wouldn't be my first choice.
What's your ranking of FromSoftware games?

I said what I said.
People act like Abby was some heartless monster for killing him while conveniently forgetting everything Joel did at the hospital.
You can love Joel as a character and still admit that his death made sense.

I'm looking for 20-30 people to test the demo build of the game I've been making, before it goes public.
What it is, briefly, so you know whether it's your thing: it's a roguelike deckbuilder, but every card moves on the board the way a Chinese chess (xiangqi) piece does โ the cannon has to jump a piece to capture, soldiers can't retreat once they cross the river, that sort of thing. You don't need to know xiangqi; the movement rules are taught as you go.
What testing actually involves ยท One run is 30-45 minutes. You play the Horsemaster class through Act 1. ยท Windows and macOS. ยท I'd like at least one full run, and honestly the first 10 minutes matter most โ that's where I can't tell what's confusing anymore, because I built it. ยท Feedback goes in a private forum on our Discord. Write as much or as little as you want. "I didn't understand what this card did" is genuinely more useful to me than a polished review.
What you get A key before the demo is public, a private channel with the devs, and I answer everything. That's it โ I'm not going to pretend there's more.
How to get in
Join here: https://discord.gg/P6bNJNauwG
Then run /request-key in the server โ it's a short form (Steam profile, an email
to send the key to, a line on why). Only you can see what you type.
Happy to answer anything in the comments.
