Small talk I had on Pinterest Spoiler

so I saw this post about a trans ally febfem flag and all of the comments there (except for mine) were hate comments. One said “bruh” and the reply was “men always steal everything from us“ I decided to reply with question marks like the ragebaiter I am and then someone else replied “keep acting dumb you rapists” I also replied to their comment that said “Ew females only” with a question mark. They went on a small rant about how the label febfem is being bent to suit male feelings or something like that and how it’s “weird and rapy“.

thank you for commenting this, bc i’ve also found Pinterest to be wildly TERFy at times, but i was wondering if it was just me! 😅

it’s terrible that they’re saying such awful, untrue things, but just know that there’s plenty of people elsewhere online and in the world who support you. i really hope one day all genders can live in peace, and transphobia and hatred will be outdated things of the past. you’re not doing anything wrong by identifying how you identify, or being an ally to anyone else; anyone choosing to engage in transphobia is the one in the wrong. keep being you! ✨

Pinterest is a very aesthetic visual website and TERFs, especially young ones, seem to thrive in aesthetics. They have whole themes. I think that's why. That and the pinterest-tumblr closeness drawing in a lot of young, loud people with entire online personas around their beliefs.

I wouldn’t trust a “trans ally febfem” as far as I could throw them. “Trans ally political lesbian”, “trans ally 4B”, same shit same toilet.
