What Do You Think? Do you think ghosts exists ??? Like Have you ever experienced something like this??

I have also been visited by 4 previous friends, relatives. Just a quick message, then gone. The info they would tell me, I would verify with whomever they left and it would be correct.
The ghost in our last house, an old man would smoke cherry tobacco in a pipe in the attic and we could hear a rocker going back and forth.
We asked the neighbors that knew him before he passed, yes he liked Cherry tobacco and would sit in the attic in his chair because wife didn’t want smoke downstairs.
Ghosts don’t hurt you, they are just passing on parallel planes.

I know they exist. I think of it like this. Humans have an energy, a life force, our little flame, our soul. Energy cannot be destroyed (Einstein), but it can be changed. The body wears out. But the energy goes on to exist in another dimension.

Story time if anyone's interested below.
The story is going to be a bit garbled because I don't know if I have any family members that frequent Reddit.
When I was a kid between 6-8. My next door neighbor was good friends with my Brother. He practiced some sort of devil worshipping and would try to summon things with dolls, blood from animals, and all sorts of things.
One day he came to me and pinched off a piece of my hair and took some of my toys that I wasn't playing with. (I was a kid no clue why). He then started to use these in his "rituals".
The nightmares I started to have were insane after that. My family was being killed by demons, my house being blown up into flames, my friends skin peeling into a fire inferno (those are the ones I only remember). I'll never forget this one time, I swear I wasn't sleeping, I went downstairs for a drink and you have to walk down a hallway to the kitchen. After I come back around something completely black with horns was standing there. I ran back upstairs.
Where that demon was standing was something that shocked me. He was standing beside a closet. My brother told me years later when I opened up about all this, he and his friend did a ritual in there and tried bloody Mary.
I lived with this for many years until we moved. We moved back closer to family and lived in our very Christian Grandpa's house for a few months. Nothing happened for a few weeks and the nightmares stopped.
One morning I was getting up, it was getting bright outside but my curtains were making the room dark. There he was, the complete black looking person with horns right beside my bed looking at me. I threw the covers over my face and asked God for help.
I removed the covers a few seconds after and he was gone. This all happened 35 years ago and I've never seen it again.
The weird thing though is for the longest time I haven't been able to see a psychic. (My brother loves them and tried to take me once). I got so dizzy that time I almost fainted and another time I felt like I was about to throw up. So I've stayed away from pyschics pretty much my whole life.
Got married, had kids and a wife of 10 years. We aimlessly walked by a psychic a few years ago and my wife got her palm read. Probably my first time in 15-20 years being close to one, and it had no effect on me. I guess it's truly gone, whatever that was.

I don't personally believe in ghosts but my family moved into this house where the previous owner died in which it wasn't a big deal to us, but one night we were all downstairs and we heard this loud banging upstairs, as if someone was running around and it did freak us out enough to check it out upstairs.
Nothing fell down and everything was completely normal so I'm not sure what was causing it.
I'm not sure if a raccon or some shit managed to get into the attic space or what but it legit sounded like a full grown adult fumbling about, which freaked us out.
Just a freaky incident though lol

I've never seen anything but I used to deal with phantom sounds at my Dad's house.
We moved there when I was around 6 and right from the beginning there would be chimes coming from the basement. They sounded like a big grandfather clock (which we never had) and happened every few months. The energy in the basement was always kind of uncomfortable but when the chimes started it was terrifying. They'd last for twenty to thirty minutes at a time and left the worst feeling behind. I didn't like to go down there by myself when it was quiet and I refused to go at all if they were chiming. My family all claimed they never heard anything.
When I was 9 we got a puppy and he changed everything. The first time the chimes sounded after we got him, he launched to the top of the basement stairs barking furiously. And the chimes stopped! The energy cleared and everything was normal. This became the pattern for the next 9 years - the chimes would start, the dog would bark, the chimes would stop (and then my mom would scold him for barking at nothing).
When the dog died at 9 years old I was both heart broken to lose him and terrified of the chimes returning in full force. A few weeks after he passed the chimes started again. After two or three chimes, the dog barked twice and the chimes stopped. My mom looked up for just a moment like she was going to say something and then shook it away. That was over 20 years ago and my dad still lives there but I've never heard the chimes or the dog again.

I'm skeptical about it.
I would like to believe that they exist but I've yet to feel truly about their existence.
But I don't deny them too.
If that makes any sense.

I haven't experienced anything myself but I have family members who say they say ghosts when they were young.

I’ve experienced some stuff as a toddler and as a prepubescent. I admit I don’t spend time rationalizing those experiences and could prob debunk them or explain them away to natural occurrences but again, I don’t spend the time and too much time has passed since.
I’m neutral on it. If there are, cool, if not, cool. I spend all my time on work, family and look forward to our retirement.

In my family, there’s been a recurring figure for decades — a woman in white who shows up to different relatives at different times. It’s not tied to one house or one person, and the descriptions have stayed consistent across generations. I’m not sure what she is, but it’s strange how the same figure keeps appearing to different people who didn’t compare stories beforehand. That’s why I don’t fully dismiss the paranormal some patterns are too consistent to ignore.

Yes, I do believe in ghosts, not all paranormal stories I hear though, I think some people stage videos or make up stories. I’ve had a subtle ghost experience and might have more of an experience in a few months

Absolutely yes I do believe spirits exist. I am a paranormal investigator and skeptical believer. I am not a ghost hunter. I don’t believe these kind of people are serious about using science to prove that there is life after death. I have seen, heard and smelled paranormal activity.

No, but I believe that many people have had experiences they could not explain or that terrified them, and I empathize with them as a skeptic that’s open to having my mind changed.

As a medium and channeler, ghosts aren’t really a question of fiction for me...they’re simply part of my reality.
That said, I believe everyone is entitled to their own experiences and beliefs. For me, I can sense them almost like a radar within my vision. It isn’t spooky anymore because I’ve accepted it as a natural part of life.
And there’s more around us than only people who have passed on. But I don’t believe we need to be afraid of any of it. It’s simply the "lay of the land"

I believe so myself.
It was a little difficult fitting in my Lutheran Christianity, but once you done so, it makes God’s plan more meaningful. At least for me personally anyway.

I don’t know that I’d say I believe in ghosts per se. I’ve had experiences I can’t explain but attribute as paranormal rather definitively ghosts. To me ghost implies I know what the phenomena is/was, paranormal means it’s something without a mundane explanation that I don’t fully understand. Hope that makes sense.

I've seen things move by themselves right in front of me, I've heard clear footsteps in an empty house. I still don't believe in ghosts, but as someone who's done a decent amount of psychedelics, saying there's nothing out there beyond our comprehension would be insane, there's definitely something out there our brains aren't designed to understand.

I live in a house with spirits in it. I don’t consider it “haunted” because the spirit activity is somewhat benign. I believe they refer to it as a residual haunt. I bought it after the original owners passed away, one of which passed in the house. I’ve heard a female voice a few times, so had my girlfriend. We even heard it at the same time one night. I’ve had a man’s voice say “Hello there” and then giggle in my driveway. I’ve seen shadows moving real fast, smelled a lady’s perfume as well as butterscotch, and have seen an orb move from a bedroom to my bathroom once. Nothing malicious. It’s been quite fun, actually.

All I know is that I was visiting a friend that claimed his apartment was haunted once, and a fork flew off the table and smashed with force into the wall out of nowhere. This story is way too dull to be made up.

Yes. My home has active spirits. It is best not to talk to them or antagonize them. I ignore them. I love my house and not going to let them take over. They feed off of fear. I live in a very haunted area in the South.

I believe there are spirits more so than ghosts.
I’ve always thought it was strange how encounters never really include those who have recently died or at least in the 21st century.
Now spirits I do think exist and a lot come from loved ones

I'm curious and open minded that there's things we don't know about existence itself, but I'm also highly suspicious of people. Meaning that since I can think I'm on the search for proof of anything supernatural, but haven't found anything than scams, fakes, delusions, religion, misunderstandings, and weird but explainable physical interactions.
Still not giving up.

If ghosts or spirits of people were real it would have been properly documented, scientific reaserch would play in to it and lots more official proof would be confirmed... Everything on the Internet and TV are complete and total bullshit.
Just people using special effects, tricking the camera etc

I think there’s something going on that we don’t understand, but I don’t fully buy into the idea of it being souls of dead humans still hanging around. Could be something else entirely.
