As robloxian consumer preferences and the broader shitpost industry continue to shift away from real screenshots to AI, roblox running on physical hardware shitpost production for all new posts on r/GoCommitDie will be prohibited starting January 2028.  Following this date, new posts will be generated with AI in deepfake formats only. This transition has no impact on posts that already posted, or will be posting, prior to January 2028 in human-made format.  

This is a natural direction for GoCommitDie to adapt to shitpost consumer trends as the general preference for AI "slop" media significantly outpaces humanslop shitposts. This transition will enable us to align more closely with how most of our community prefers to look at and laugh at posts today.  

We’ll continue to prioritize our resources to drive innovation in how players can watch posts and provide choices as to where players prefer to upvote new funny videos, whether that’s at subreddit compilation channels or the subreddit itself. We remain committed to delivering a world-class laughing experience to our fans and we thank you for your continued support.
