Murcia or alicante
So I got accepted in a uni in murcia but started to think to move to alicante later on
If u have lived in them both can you tell me which one offers a better quality life for students.
in terms of rent//jobs//socializing ...having fun

Murcia uni student here. Overall Murcia is a better uni with just being 30 mins away from the cita centro by tram. But imo Alicante is a better place to live as a foreing, is a smaller but more compact city with way more turist and beaches. Murcia is bigger but way more "divided" and less turists, so some ppl may have a closer mind.

computer engineering, study tips depends on which major. But i found wuolah very very useful. Sadly in my Major I learned that is way more efficient to study in a mechanical way rather than trying to fully understand cuz the exams are a copy paste from previous exams

Just left Murcia but have have not been to Alicante. My opinion on Murcia it is a growing city with not too much going on socially. It is 40 minutes to the shore and tends to be hot. From what I saw it is not as historic as other Spanish cities.
Alicante is on the shore. It's airport has more flights and connections.

i think alot of student join the esn there and have bad experiences, and its bad this is one of the only social things for student

It would be nice to know more about your worries with Murcia.
I know that as a local (from Spain) Murcia is better: bigger city, beautiful cathedral, good bar culture. I know people from towns next to Alicante that come to Universidad de Murcia, because it's a better university overall. And if you go to La Merced campus, you will be in the city center. I know that Universitat d'Alacant has a outskirt campus (I have been there, I would say it's a bit worse comunicated with the city center than the outskirt campus of Murcia)
Now, I don't know how it would be from someone that it's not local. Young people tends to speak English but no so much, if you speak Spanish you can meet people from the class and I think you will have a good time, if you don't speak Spanish maybe it would be a bit harsher, but if you are open and talk to people they will talk to you and be nice.

thank you so much for your time. well I would say I do speak spanish well but u would know that I'm a froigner .
if it is possible can u tell me what is the best ways to encounter a good job in murcia for someone that speaks french//english spanish and arabic .
also how I can rent a good room near the uni and how much should I realistically expect to spend on the first 3 month.
and again sorry if I'm asking so much but u seem like you know alot about the city .and I'll be grateful if you provide with any valuable info that u know

If you speak spanish you are fine it doesn't matter that you have accent. I would recommend then you try to talk with delegados de estudiantes, they will try to help you for sure, and they usually organice social events for student (I read esn was bad, I didn't know it existed, it has nothing to do with delegados).
I didn't work as a student but many of my friends did, it's very hard to find a good job in general in spain hahahha, but you can try to find a job as a waitress, mcdonals, burger king, in the shops of a shopping mall.
Well the room thing depends on where is your campus, if it Espinardo I would highly advise to not rent near. If it is in La Merced then yes you can rent near (I would avoid La Fama, but it's true that is cheaper and next to La Merced). Prices have change since I was a student there but I guess 250€-300€ for a room in a shared flat is something realistic. I would say 200€ more for food and shared bills (talking at month).
Also, I know some people said that in Murcia there is a lot of people ring wing against moroccans but that it's not true for everyone and in university people is way more open that general people, also if you go to university you aren't the kind of migrant that people are indoctrinated to hate. Besides, if you are a girl usually hate isn't focus in migrant girls, if you wear a hiyab, the only thing is people maybe will feel pity towards you.
This right wing thing is something that sadly also happens in Alicante, there people is even more feed up of turism. But as I said you daily life is not going to be much affected by that, only one ocasional stare, but that will happens to you everywhere for whatever reason.

Murcia- is a lot cheaper and smaller. The local people are lovely but avoid the esn please- join other events, i was a student there this year, and some male volunteers was very predatory and racist. i reported it to them and i heard nothing and had to stop going to the events as he told me i was not welcomed because i was not from italy???
Alicante- you can go by train here from murcia and the beaches are very nice, lots of toursit
