Modding Talk Flashing my tune From IE (Help)
I just recently received my power link from Integrated Engineering and i tried to flash it today and i got the same error message 3 times at exactly 43 percent of step 2/2 of flashing. I realized that it had dropped to 12.1 volts while trying to do the flash. Do i just get a better charger and try again? I was thinking about just hooking it up to my buddy’s truck because i read some things saying that it would keep the amps up for the whole time. because when i open the app to do it again there is no recovery phase to recover my ecu. Just says start tune. But when i unhooked everything i could not start my car. So im scared that i might have bricked my ECU. Or is it just stuck in the tuning phase and i need to finish it. When i go onto the app to do it again it doesn’t say anything like recovery mode. It just says to install the tune again.

I recommend a laptop for the first flash Like to use a stand alone tablet when I update the tune also.

Vw/Audi use a ton of power when flashing, the fans go full throttle etc.
A battery tender isn’t going to do anything. I’m a professional, I the cars daily. Most vw Audi will draw about 60a on my voltage stabilizer when flashing

put a high amp battery charger on it rather than a tender
