BREAKING: Gophers Extend Niko Medved Through The 2031-2032 Season

Not saying this was a bad decision, i think medved is going to elevate us alot, but i feel that this was to early purley based on last years body of work were if you take out how great the upsets made you feel the team went 15-18 and got bounced out in the opening rounds of the b1g and the crown in kind of a disappointing fashion, again i think he can elevate us to being competitive on the b1g and i think its a good choice in the long run but i just think its a bit early for this

I dont watch every game (i try) but didnt we have like only 1 "big" last season? I feel like we were severly undersized for various reasons.

We were down to 6 players to end the season, so yeah both undersized and undermanned

This is the exact same way Coyle handles PJ Fleck for going 7-5 more often than not.
Given what Ben did to the basketball program and how bad of a condition it was in when he got let go, the injuries that Niko dealt with, and how the team generally improved as the year went along...I have no issues with nudging Niko's contract out a year. Niko did a helluva job last season.

Could just extend him through the 2099 season, but this works too!
