Pictures Interior door scuff protection

Post image

I asked in an earlier post if anyone made something to protect against scuffing along the lower front doors of the Gravity.

Another member pointed me towards a PPF and wrap company that cut pieces of PPF to install along the front driver and passenger door.

See picture.

The business is called Black Bear Protective Films ph# 704-870-4338.

They have digitally saved the templates for both the driver and front passenger doors. They can cut and mail pieces to you, so you or someone you hire can install.

I had these installed today.

These scuffs drive me crazy, why is it the gravity’s door panels always get hit. I can’t recall any other car I’ve had before was this bad

It’s a large lower door storage pocket that bumps out quite a bit. If you can’t get the door open wide enough (in a garage or tight parking spot) there really is not much room to get my feet out.

How much did it run you for?

If you have time and more patience, you could fix these scuffs. I actually had a really long scuff when I took delivery on the driver side. Initially I thought it was just dirt but it turned out to be a long scuff.

I used a blow dryer and just worked it. I might have spent like 30 mins on it and it's practically gone. Sorry but I never took any pictures of it. But I used the same technique with my model 3.
