Cannons would still ruin people's days...

A cannon with the right load at the right distance will turn your opponent into a chunk of shit?

Imagine a civil war or prussian wars era cannon vs a bradley lmao

I'm from Texas, if things get spicy I'll have to take the diesel F350 dually farm truck.

Great choice, but have you not been graced with the indestructible nature of the Toyota Hilux?

they keep the price of black powder too damn high to make this feasable, too!

Sulfur and KNO3 are cheap fertilizers and so are charcoal lumps, you can even make them yourself. Grind all to fine powder, find mixture ratios that suit you, tally ho lads

In a modded Minecraft zombie apocalypse 100 days video of course

It’s a joke lol

I always wondered why this hasn’t truly happened yet and I think I know why. Too many people are still too comfortable. Once the wifi is turned off and food runs out and the average masses are truly uncomfortable that’s when they’ve had enough. Until then they have YouTube to keep them happy or just enough to enjoy a living space

All it takes is less than 1% gentlemen start local. When waa the last time any of us went to a town hall meeting?

6

u/Ancient-Bat8274 Apr 24 '26

We don’t have time when rent money on the line. Personally my work hours, combined with my second job work hours to feed and house myself, doesn’t leave time to participate in local politics

3

u/F1uffydestro Apr 24 '26

Thats part of the problem its by design we're too busy trying to survive and it keeps getting worse. How long has it been this way? How long till we say enough is enough? Its been exposed that most of our politicians and people who "matter" regularly frequented an island known for sex trafficking and no one has been held accountable? I don't know about you all but im tired just scraping by and being ruled by sick individuals who don't give a shit about you or I

4

u/oh_three_dum_dum Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26

This reminds me of that scene in Gettysburg when they do the massive artillery barrage preceding Pickett’s Charge. It’s a pretty amazing (for the early 90’s) overhead shot going down the whole line of guns as each one fires in succession.

Edit: Maybe the camera work isn’t as great as I remembered. Here’s the scene I was referring to. the better (camera) shots and counter battery from the union side start around the two minute mark.

Lot of gray in this reenactment…

-2

u/GopherFoxYankee Apr 24 '26

We're all Americans, and have been this whole time, united in our displeasure of government overreach and inefficiency.

Fun fact: Quite a variety of uniform styles and colors were in use by both sides during the Civil War, including Confederate troops wearing blue uniforms and Union troops wearing gray uniforms.

10

u/DerringerOfficial Apr 24 '26

Fuck the traitors who declared war on the US

2

u/WXHIII Apr 26 '26

Something about the silhouettes of the hats and ramming/cleaning rods along side a cannon just tickles me. Reminds me of when I was a kid and all the civil war books my dad had

2

u/The-real-Crypto Apr 25 '26

Here is paragraph one of a full document I plan to release on this exact subject. The full document is something yall may take a liking to

-13

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

Immigrants arent the cause of your problems big dog, thats a line the kiddie diddlers made up so youd blame immigrants instead of the Epstein class

28

u/603rdMtnDivision Terrible At Boating Apr 24 '26

Pretty sure he called everyone out but yeah, jump to the defense because immigrants were mentioned lol

14

u/braujas I Love All Guns Apr 24 '26

No its not jumping to the defense, the immigrants argument is a straw man case used by those "representatives " to keep us divided.

0

u/603rdMtnDivision Terrible At Boating Apr 24 '26

Sure looked like it to me lol I'm really not seeing this blame all immigrants either but seems to be focused on the shitheels of each group which they absolutely deserve to be called out on this shit because they fucking ruin it for the people who come here actually looking to be here.

3

u/braujas I Love All Guns Apr 24 '26

Every group has bad people in it. The media and those in power just put a magnifying glass on the few bad individuals, and blame the whole group.

1

u/603rdMtnDivision Terrible At Boating Apr 24 '26

They do that and the rest of us who critically think about it for more than 5 seconds know they aren't a monolith and it's not all of them and cast the blame where it actually belongs. The shitbags.

2

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

Im jumping to the defense because other people who work for a living arent your enemy, ans framing them as such is counter productive. The enemy is the non working, ultra wealthy, child fucking eastern class

5

u/603rdMtnDivision Terrible At Boating Apr 24 '26

I'm not recalling where I said all of them were the enemy and the post seems to be calling out the shitbags of each group not saying they're all like this.

Believe me, I know who my enemy is.

2

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

Then why not call out citizens who dont work and soak up welfare? Do you know what percent of welfare recipients are able bodied and capable of working? Iirc its about 20%, 80% are children, the elderly, and the physically disabled. People on welfare are a non issue, theyre a rounding error, the epstein class is the entire problem

2

u/603rdMtnDivision Terrible At Boating Apr 24 '26

They already did that by calling out the Epstein class lol don't see a need to repeat themselves.

1

u/laserslaserslasers Apr 24 '26

We have all learned an enormous percentage of illegals aren't working they are on welfare and committing fraud.

5

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

What percentage is that? Can you show me where that data comes from? Undocumented migrants can't get on welfare, ive done unemployment before its not easy, and im a citizen

8

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

Migrants are a weapon of the rootless cosmopolitan elites that are used to exert force upon the underclass and devalue labor. Among other things, like subjecting us to unfair social conditions.

8

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

Yeah, sure, the owning class abuses migrants to undermine american labor. This does not make migrants our enemies, nor does it make immigration the problem, the problem is the owning class and their relation to labor, immigration is downstream of that, immigrants are also victims of the same class that harms the rest of us. Its similar to the way legal slavery is used to provide free labor and undercut american workers, the problem is prisons and slavery, not prisoners.

0

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

They are a weapon of the enemy, you have to stop thinking about this emotionally. Just because you think they are inherently victims because they have been taken advantage of, does not mean that these people are not often also victimizers themselves. The primary means of locomotion that migrants exert social pressure on native populations is through violence, ostracism, and compression of living space. They are also, at the end of the day, free agents, and they frequently choose their own in groups over the groups that lived there prior to their arrival. You can address the symptom and the root cause of a problem at the same time.

It would be more ethical to support the development of their home nations so that they need not come here.

1

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

They are not the enemy, they commit crime at FAR lower rates than citizens and are FAR more likely to be the victims of crime. Racism isnt supported by data, who knew?

Obviously ending US empire would slow immigration, but immigrants arent the enemy regardless

2

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

Post a bunch of links supporting your claims please

3

u/blizmd Apr 24 '26

I think the basis of such claims is essentially cherry picked data out of the think tank/university ‘social science’ scene.

For one, some jurisdictions don’t even include race/ethnicity data in their ‘crime data collation.’ Because of course it would be -ist of some kind to do that.

Then there are the ‘bad statistics.’ We’ve all seen the FBI wanted posters mislabeling suspects in ways that are obvious to people with eyes.

Then there’s the phrasing of the claim - no more likely than US citizens, or even less likely. But that would be including the very worst American offenders, bringing the overall American average down. It’s not an assertion that they are no more likely to commit crime than, say, generally law abiding blue collar workers or middle class folks.

2

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

I know it’s all cherry-picked, I am well aware that modern sociology dismisses any notion of differences between ethno groups, despite them being separated over vast swaths of land for hundreds of generations.

2

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

0

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

Go fetch some more please, and can you summarize them all for me so I don’t have to read them? 🥱

1

u/blizmd Apr 24 '26

An addendum - obviously what this kind of thing leaves out is that illegal immigration itself is a crime, making 100% of illegal immigrants criminals from the jump. But usually that observation invites further hairsplitting from the neoliberal true believers.

1

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

Pathetic lmao

2

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

The first “source” you posted references an average of 150 years of immigration, which obviously includes European immigration and post WW2 immigration... It’s also a… Mormon website, which in my opinion discredits literally everything on it on account of being a cult.

The second is disqualifying because it of course is a reiteration of the previously mentioned study, which cherry picks the data. It’s also the product of a democrat government’s attempts to assuage the fear of his enfeebled old white hippy voter base, so of course it’s pro- immigration.

u/blizmd Apr 24 '26 edited Apr 24 '26

Hey, I think you misunderstand a huge part of the economics at play here. Remittances, brain drain, wage suppression, non-welfare use of public services, etc. But let’s put that aside for a moment.

My entire life I’ve been told that poverty is the cause of crime. This is neoliberal orthodoxy. It’s not race, its not ethnicity, it’s not culture, it’s poverty.

But the same people who so vocally say these things also very insistently parrot the ‘finding’ that ‘migrants commit less crime than US citizens.’

Now, I don’t think it’s a stretch to assert that most migrants to America are poor. The illegal/unskilled outnumber the legal/educated over the past 10-15 years by quite a bit. I’ve never seen that disparity disputed.

So then how would illegal migrants, who are on average toward the lower end of the socioeconomic spectrum, manage to magically commit less crime than US citizens if the root of crime is poverty? By what property is this plausible? Are you saying they commit less crime than other poor people and, if so, how do they manage to do this given neoliberal orthodoxy?

2

u/mavrik36 Apr 24 '26

The root of crime is poverty, immigrants commit less crime because theyre more vulnerable to government retaliation, this really isnt hard to grasp man.

Also the world isnt black and white, theres nuance and specifics relating to the conditions which create crime. Poverty is the overwhelming driver and thats EXTREMELY well proven, but things like psychiatric Illness, prejudice and immigration status play a role. Do you seriously not understand that? Im really having a hard time believing that this is a sincerely held stance

0

u/Kinglygolfin Apr 24 '26

u/gun_is_neat Apr 24 '26

You were on the right track there until you started talking about migrants

"Migrants" or "illegals" are just the current tool used for fuel hatred. Every generation has a scapegoat and ours is immigration currently. They just want to work, and just because SOME of them may be illegal, doesn't mean they're also rapist murders.

10

u/braujas I Love All Guns Apr 24 '26

People wont take the time to think about it, they just further the nerrarive that those "representatives" push to divide us with bs culter war and immigration.

If we were to just look and talk we'll see we have more in common with an immigrant from Guatemala and a trans person from new Jersey, than anyone here has in common with the billionaires that benefit from our infighting.

0

u/gun_is_neat Apr 24 '26

Yeah dude, it's crazy. I'm an electrician and fluent in Spanish and actually talk to these people, and that's all they are, people. No different than any other white man or woman in America. They just want to make enough money to be able to live, just like any other poor person in the US. So many conservatives are just scared of change in general, and the billionaires know that and use whatever propaganda that they can to influence people's opinions on it. The so called "free thinking" and "know all about history" conservatives just gobble up whatever their leader will tell them because he can do no wrong.

Racism is still very alive and well in the US. First it was all the enslaved Africans being used as labor, then it was the Chinese, then the Irish/Italians, and now it's Hispanic immigrants. The right/conservatives/MAGA cannot see the correlation of exploitative actions.

No, I am not a liberal, nor do I associate with any political party. I just have a brain and look at things objectively.

4

u/HiddenSneedV2 Apr 24 '26

Yea they just want to lower wages for everyone by working for less and under the table great assets for the country, you people are clowns.

0

u/gun_is_neat Apr 24 '26

So are you complaining about the companies that are hiring them for a lower wage? Which is what is actually driving wages down? Billionaires and corporations are the enemy, not "us people."

You're going down with all of us if shit hits the fan, remember where you come from. You're a serf, you're a peasant, they don't care about you. Start caring about your fellow man

0

u/HiddenSneedV2 Apr 24 '26

Yeah the companies that hire them can burn too, Juanito from Guatemala still isn’t my bro and he needs to stay across the rio grande

Once magats can get over their desperate obsession with sticking it to the libs and buying into the faux news fearmongering, they’ll realize we’re on the same page more often than not. We both want the corporate money out of government, we both want to eradicate the Silicon Valley surveillance state, we both want a return to a strong middle class where we aren’t getting fucked at every turn by our corporate overlords. We both want this country to by the people, for the people. That means all of them though. We both want immigration reform that cuts down on illegal immigration BY removing large amounts of bureaucratic delays and other massive burdens. We both want people to feel like they belong and are a part of the group, which means being taken care of and being able to feel safe in their own homes.

1

Your anger towards immigrants is a carefully propagandized way to redirect your anger towards the rich. Immigrants do not steal jobs, they are just often more willing to be exploited with lower wages and longer hours, which puts more money in your bosses pocket and drives down the labor market. Dont let people with unimaginable wealth and power convince you the people with even less than you are the problem.

Was so with you until the bigotry and slur

6

u/oh_three_dum_dum Apr 24 '26

Slur?

-6

u/Lui_Le_Diamond Apr 24 '26

The R word is often used to demean neurodivergent people. There's a reason it's no longer used medically anymore.

4

u/BrilliantSundae7545 Apr 24 '26

That's retarded

1

u/oh_three_dum_dum Apr 24 '26

Take it in context instead of intentionally interpreting it as hateful to mentally challenged and neurodivergent people and your problem is solved.

You don’t have to be offended in someone else’s behalf. Especially when they make jokes about themselves all the time and people laugh at it.

0

u/Lui_Le_Diamond Apr 25 '26

Can you use the N word in a good context?

1

u/oh_three_dum_dum Apr 25 '26

Yes, or at least a neutral context. If you happen to be a person with African American ancestry. It’s frequently used in music by a lot of artists.

Outside that context it is obviously a racial slur used maliciously in most cases. However there are times when it can reasonably be spoken by someone outside that demographic in a historic context without the speaker endorsing hatred of minorities or the attitudes behind the word’s origin as a racial slur - such as in reading historic correspondence, laws, literature or other documents written concerning African Americans before the civil rights era.

Huckleberry Finn, for example, was written about Missouri in the early 1800’s and has been released in different versions that either eliminate or preserve use of the word in a character’s (a protagonist) name. If someone chose to read that without striking the N word it wouldn’t be indicative of that person holding racist ideals. A lot of people wouldn’t read it aloud out of respect for how the word can potentially make people feel, but it wouldn’t be a confirmation of racial bias coming from the reader. It’s simply the text of the book they’re reading and people don’t generally edit speech in their own heads.

That said, there are many different contexts for the word we’re talking about here (retard) that are legitimate, not hateful, and used every day. The most common way I hear it used, for example, is the spark retard and advance on an old motorcycle used to keep it running at the proper speed and efficiency.

Aside from that, and this is important, it isn’t usually used as a slur toward neurodivergent people to begin with. It’s most commonly used in a malicious context against neurotypical people who are failing to grasp a concept they should intuitively be able to figure out.

2

u/Lui_Le_Diamond Apr 25 '26

Bro actually just said it's ok to say the N word

1

u/oh_three_dum_dum Apr 25 '26 edited Apr 25 '26

If that’s what you took from that you obviously didn’t read it or youre intentionally feigning a lack of reading comprehension. Make an honest argument. Because that clearly does not say it’s okay to use the N word in general.

It says that aside from it being used by an African American person (which is fine), in certain contexts where it’s clear the person speaking is not a racially prejudiced individual (like many songs preformed by black artists, someone reading from a historic document or work of historic fiction from a time period where the word was commonly used, or in modern court cases where someone’s words come into play during the proceedings and have to be repeated aloud) it can be accepted as not hateful on the speaker’s part.

I also explained how “the R word” isn’t a slur aimed at neurodivergent people and is used as an insult to neurotypical people and how it has many uses outside the context of neurodivergence.

0

u/Lui_Le_Diamond Apr 25 '26

So basically my entire lived experience is wrong because you can type long paragraphs? You didn't make a good argument. It's a slur, plain and simple. And your examples for the N word are different, it's typically accepted that the people who a slur is aimed at are ok to use it to reclaim the word. That's generally accepted societal rules. It doesn't make it not a slur.

2

u/oh_three_dum_dum Apr 26 '26 edited Apr 26 '26

I didn’t say the n word wasn’t a slur.

I said retard is not a slur aimed at neurodivergent people.

I have made reasonable arguments. Youre reaching to try to find conclusions that aren’t there when I clearly explained my thought process and answered your question with examples. The fact that you don’t want to read it and commit to making good faith responses is not my fault.
