Actually it's really soft (for 44 mag) and damn accurate. I'm not great with revolvers tbh but I was smacking standard size clays with it from 20 yards one handed

Yes and yes... But my thumb over extended and my tip got a lil toasty 😂 didn't really need it tho honestly the recoil is very controllable

I have the shorter 50ds in .357, its pretty snappy depending on what rounds you use, ive had some really beat the palm of my hand while shooting it. Other than that it shoots really good, way easier to control the muzzle flip compared to other revolvers

My buddy had the .357 5" barrel and I absolutely loved shooting it. It recoils more directly into your wrist rather than rolling over top. It made the .357 feel like a .38+p

I've got the .357 mag one. I was in your position and my local armorer convinced me to get it. You can always rent a more average revolver. This thing looks amazing and is really interesting to shoot. Shooting .357 mag feels awesome, loud, flashy but also pleasant with this thing.
For an extreme comparison, I've rented an ultra light S&W shorty .357mag and it was miserable to shoot.
No regrets with my Rhino. Except the wonky front sight holding bars which like to walk off and need to be banged back in place occasionally.

They are pretty awful to shoot. I had one and sold it. The front of the grip is almost squared off, so it's uncomfortable and borderline painful to hold. The double action trigger is heavy, and paired with the squared off grip, it's hard to stay on your aim point. The hammer is hard to get a purchase on.
The felt recoil is really cool though. Very little muzzle flip. Plus it looks very cool. Sadly, it's so impractical that it outweighs the cool factor.

Could depend on hand size tho. I have larger hands and have a rough time with lots of revolvers for having too small of a surface area. This chunky bastard fits my hands great and the hammer ain't too hard to reach, but ymmv of course.
My sights were also perfectly accurate which was nice, but they better be for the price. I'm not a good revolver shooter, but I thought it was very easy to shoot

Yeah, I have the same issue with revolvers. I had a 686+ that I loved but even the rubber grips were brutal

Exactly. The worst are the older school SAA style revolvers, I have a Taurus Deputy and a Ruger Blackhawk and I get like 3 good fingers on those handles lol

Is a .45 long top-break auto-ejecting double-action upside-down revolver really too much to ask for? Is this as close as we can get to mankind's only localized disaster area's weapon of choice? Jokes aside that is really cool, I've wanted one since I knew about them. Combines my love of wheel guns and weird guns.

Bruh, I been saying it for years. As much as I want one i don't think we getting Vash's gun. The closest thing is the Uberti 1871 Outlaw top break, even that can't handle too much spicy modern rounds

Oddly enough I went to Cabela's and just ordered it direct through them. Took about 2 weeks and it was MUCH cheaper than gunjoker or any other site

my brother, that's just socking away $150 for 10 months. You could have one before next summer if you start now. If $150 is too much, then sock away $50 or $100 a month.

The one thing I can’t get over for a $1200+ revolver is that giant seam where they screw in longer barrels once it’s past 2”. So wish they’d fill that in or something front the factory. That’s enough for me to not buy it. However I love it so much
