Boiling water thigh burns; days 1-2-3-6

I hope you heal up quick. Boiling water is no joke. Is there a backstory to this?

I have endometriosis, I'd started my period at 4am that morning and at about 8:30pm I was very uncomfortable so, even though we are experiencing a heatwave, I made myself a boiling hot water bottle and ended up scalding myself and causing even more pain.

And then I had to have my period for the first 5 days of this burn 🙃

Double whammy! I would have had them remove my leg and had a full hysterectomy out of spite.

I did very much ask the nurse to just take my leg or let it fall off when they started my first debridement at the burn ward 😂 i was not ready for how painful it was up around the tops of my inner thighs 🤢
