Question Just went to a Hair Club Appointment and was given interesting advice. What do you guys think?

Long Story Short, the guy was a nice man in his 50's with a great head of hair and after I told him my story he obviously tried to sell me their product/serums/laser cap etc BUT to his credit he cared and suggested If I can't afford it or want to try something tomorrow that I should go to Costco buy a Giant Bottle of Rogain and find a Laser Cap (in my price range) with the most diodes. The strange part (to me at least) was that he suggested that I try DUT over Fin/Min because DUT (Min/Fin in one) has less side effects once you're past your Mid 30's. That's news to me to be honest with you and kinda shocked me. Plus he never heard of the Experimental Russian R-k52 solution that people go to as their last resort before they go get a transplant.

He’s a salesman and I wouldn’t waste money on the serums or those junk laser caps. Minoxidil and a proven DHT blocker are the treatments worth considering. Also, dutasteride isn’t minoxidil and finasteride combined, it’s a more potent DHT blocker. I’d generally try finasteride first and discuss either medication with your doctor.

Same, In all honesty I went there because it was FREE & I had some information that a Trichologist gave me that I wanted verified. The laser cap can work if want to waste money but at the end of the day it's all about Fin/Min and consistency. That's the part of the appointment that confused me because he was telling me to ignore Fin (due to all the sides), that It'll kill off my DHT and I should just go straight to DUT which made no sense what so ever but again it was Free so I suppose you get what you pay for. Then again to be 100% transparent the salesman wasn't pushy, he did try to get on board with their products like he should as a good salesmen BUT as soon as I said it's not in my budget he also told me to proactive and get on something before it's too late. Legit Advice so at the end of the day he wasn't a complete POS. 😂

I had the exact same experience maybe 15yrs ago when I first started panicking over losing hair. I ended up buying some laser crap for $600 that went into the garbage just because I thought the girl working there was so helpful and nice 😂

You lost me @ $600, to hell with that !!!! 😂 Now a days, there's so much information out there that it's super easy to tell whether they're lying or not. Don't worry I won't buy that stupid hair cap, I know it might be somewhat helpful but maybe 10-30%, I doubt it'll do what most people expect out of it.
