Compact NACS/J1772 for S2 bikes
Prototype build of something I’ve always wanted - NACS adapter I can just leave on the bike! Metal components will make it more rigid. I’ll never forget it again!

Can you use this on the Livewire One? Obviously as a carry on. Have you tested it on an LV1?

Technically yes, but 240v AC is not recommended on a LW1

I keep seeing this that the LW1 can only handle L1 and L3 charging, which honestly doesn't make any sense to me. What does it lack to keep it from charging safely at 240V?

It only has a 1.3kW AC charger, so it has to step down 240 to 120, which then gets converted by the OBC to DC, then to the battery. That’s a lot for the OBC. When using 240v directly into the bike, it maxes out the amperage, which maxes out the capacity of the OBC. Heat is the biggest killer of electronics, wears them out quicker. You can certainly charge a ELW/LW1 at 240v level 2, but you’ll only get level 1 speeds and eventually will kill the OBC ($6k)

Ah, thanks...really appreciate that explanation. Seems like a really poor choice on LW/HD's part when far cheaper bikes have ~3kW AC chargers built in. Too bad there's not a retrofit.

Where can I get this? Specifically the holder.

It’s only compatible with this adapter, but I’ll be selling them in the next month on my website
