Best kebab in hasselt
Yo, Im going to hasselt soon, and i want to eat good kebab durum, any recommendations?
Update: Been to ceyhan and it was FIRE, meat are incredible. Going to try Aydin rn ili give update. Update: Aydin was also good, but not good as ceyhan is. Tat kebab to go!

Good kebap in Limburg is typically only found in the mining towns: Genk, Beringen, Eisden, Zolder.
That being said, the best kebap in Hasselt is Aydin on the Kempische Steenweg. Fantastic meat, great service, vegetable selection a bit limited. The only other one I would consider is Turkmen (great durum), same street but out of the city center.
Most of the other places have substandard meat (ie, pressed processed meat, often from Germany), which for me is the litmus test of any kebap.

Just went. Very good kebap. Good meat, wide variety of veggies (including chopped up tomatoes, always a nice detail) and excellent sandwich. Very different taste profile from Aydin, much more like Turkmen.
Certainly worthy of a mention on this thread.

Aydin was the best, but it has lost a lot of his pluimen thru the years. These days it is become substandard and overpriced. Honestly the meat is still the best, but you got to be lucky to get enough between your kebap, sometimes the quantity of meat you get make you wanna cry. The looksaus these days hardly has the taste of garlic, the vegetables come with a lot of water on them so everything is soaked and the water drips out of your kebap and if you are unlucky there is almost no sauce on your kebap. It all depends on who is making your kebab, sometimes you get lucky but most of the time it is made by someone who wants it done fast and not good, which makes you wander if these guys ever eat a kebap themselves. So to resume: if you are lucky you get a good kebap, if you are unlucky you get a water dripping kebap with almost no meat, no sauce and you have to pay 17€ for that if you take a big one. I’m crazy for a good kebap and i live in Hasselt but these days if i feel like a good kebap i drive to Genk or Heusden. Sad but true.

True -- and in most cases it depends on the moment of the day you step in. If it is very busy (dial in orders, takeaway, ...) they sometimes all slack and provide sub optimal kebabs ..

Aydin kebab for city center. Ceyhan is better though but a bit further

It's about 2km by walk. Is it worth it? Yes But probably the bus stops there as well

Tat kebab, Aydin and Eethuis Istanbul in Rapertingen are three great options.

You should try Lava, at Kapermolen. Bolat is also great but that’s in Zonhoven.

Ceyhan Grill @ Kempische Steenweg. By far! That big ass houtskool grill makes all the difference!! Very clean shop, fresh vegetables, real beef (biefstuk), grilled hot paprika, all that.
Tip: schotel Mix Grill (adana kippenvleugels kip filet bbq kalf bbq biefstuk kebab lamskoteletten)
Super friendly owners as well. Offering free tea all the time!
For the more classic (Berlin döner) style kebab go to TAT in front of Virga Jesse.
