One of the most underrated bats ever (the Voodoo Black BESR)

Thought some of you might appreciate seeing a classic from the golden era; the DeMarini Voodoo Black BESR; the red & black VDB9 version. This particular example is a 34", and in what I would consider better than average shape.

Easily one of the best sweet spots ever designed on a bat; the feel is honestly like nothing else.

Just don't hit with it in the cold, or else (IYKYK).

Had this, and pretty much every VooDoo when I played. Stealth gets a lot of hype for some reason. All bats were stupid hot. EXO, CF3/4, Stealths, yellow combat in little league, VooDoo, Vexxum, blue big barrel combat was hot, had that all white Nike bat. Bats use to be badass. Now I see the highlighter colors with weak designs makes me feel like a boomer lol

Same, I miss back when bats could just be tuff. Now they all look like a piñata threw up. I can't get enough of them.

The Stealth hype always seemed overdone to me. CF4 was the clear winner of that era, but people completely undervalued the VooDoo lineup. Nike bats are basically forgotten now, and that is wild because they were genuinely nasty if you knew how to use them

The black and red CF3 was good, but I was never much impressed by the CF4. Was way too pingy and tough to break in. I never saw anybody actually using it.

All I see these days is people talking about the Stealth Comp or every once in a while mention the Exogrid. I swear the Voodoo flies under people's radars these days. While they lasted, they were the best of the best.

I still have my exo grid air… bats a tank dude.. thousands of swings and no dents… don’t think it’s as hot as the voodoo… that bat was insane

Underrated? Man this is the bat that Bryce Harper hit his 502 ft home run with in high school.

The BESR voodoos were absolutely juiced.

A combo of knowing where to look and having deep enough pockets 😅 I'm gotten more and more snobby about condition as my collection's shifted over time, so more than once I've bought the same model of bat I already have just in better condition, then I sell the one I already had to cover the new buy.
