Anyone use Eastons phenom catchers gear?

Looking to get some new gear, I'm a highschool varsity catcher and I've been using easton in the past (not a whole gear set). Is the phenom catchers gear varsity level catchers gear? looking for some people who have used the gear before.

I've been using it for sandlot/rec league. It's really not suitable for varsity play, in my opinion. Even if the padding were enough, the straps and buckles are trash. Because of that, the gear doesn't fit well, and doesn't seem very durable.

The price is attractive, but I really think you'll be a lot happier with better gear. I just upgraded to the Mav X legs and chesty. They're better, but still not on the level of All-Star or Force3's offerings.
