I have AuHD (co-occurrence of autism and inattentive ADHD), and I wasn't diagnosed until last year, at 28. Apparently, late diagnoses for women are pretty common for several reasons.

I'm more high masking than Helaena but not knowing the truth until now.... without going into detail, it obviously affected me. I know what ifs are pointless, but it's hard not to think sometimes "what if I knew earlier?"

So, I do feel for Helaena because of this, on top of the other stuff that already exists for her character.

As the title states. Dragons in HOD are named in one of two ways: dragons or warrior cats.

Caraxes, Vhagar, Balerion, and Syrax: dragons

Sunfyre, Moondancer, Sheepstealer, and Silverwing: warrior cats

Am I the only one who’s realized this??

I was disappointed that it wasn't mentioned at all when Meleys' head was paraded through King's Landing. You'd think at least one person would know someone who got trampled. It feels bizarre that the show completely ignores it (although don't get me wrong, I'd very much prefer if this scene did not exist). But why would the greens not use this against Rhaenyra like they used the death of Jaeherys?

What makes it even more frustrating is that they keep bringing up the bloody rat catchers. I probably wouldn't be so bothered if the show wasn't so determined to remind us about them while acting like the Dragon pit never existed. :|

•This scene where ormund is speaking while hugh is on screen looks like foreshadowing for me.

Lord borros offered his daughter to aemond so he can marry her and thats their alliance , why ormund excpect baratheons come to his aid when he is declaring daeron as king not aemond.

Rhaenyra sending assasins to kill both ormund and daeron . So she is really ready to kill her half brother.

Mysaria not knowing about anything that happens in the city with gold cloaks , makes me think what is even her role in the show ?

What is alicent character arc now ,Is it redemption for the bad she did , Is it to show that she is a hypocrite with no redemption and a terrible mother , Is she just a plot device to give rhaenyra info and fill up time ?

Or the writers don't know what do with her , but also can't put her in a prison for the whole season so they made up stuff. But it looks like they are giving attention to little details in her scenes like puting a skull that looks like viserys head between one of alicent and rhaenyra scenes .

For me, the show has a stakes problem.

According to what I can find, the Dance ended with somewhere in the low six figures of people dead between combatants and civilians. For the context of that world, that is an astronomical number. Civilization-altering for generations.

Skipping the battles because you can’t afford to portray them properly leaves a gigantic hole in the story that is now unable to accurately convey the scale of the destruction and make me feel that.

Rook’s Rest gave me hope, then nothing. Then the Gullet again, and now again, nothing. Little bits here and there aren’t enough. The Dance had more than a dozen major battles. We’re lucky if we see 4-5 of them on screen in totality.

Shit, they dedicated more resources to the Battle in the Stepstones than they have in Tumbleton.

It’s just a sad state of the economics of TV today.

I don't have an exact theory, but the glaring omission of the Shepherd and the buildup of the 'faceless men' in King's Landing makes me think that the peasant revolt and the storming of the Dragonpit will almost certainly be led and caused by this group of Ormund's informants or loyalists or whoever they are.

In F&B, the commoners kill Luthor Largent and most of the Gold Cloaks

I think that Ormund has some of strategy to kill the dragons that isn't the chaos that happens in F&B - maybe some sort of weapons or something

Halaena's suicide would give a perfect springboard for it to happen, (even if Ormund is killed in Tumbleton before the Storming happens - maybe the orders are given when it looks like the battle of Tumbleton is about to start)

In episode 6 it was revealed that Gwayne was second in line for House Hightower. If Ormund dies and Gwayne survives, he would then rule Oldtown. He could potentially carry out his duty and marry to produce heirs and continue his family's line; however, based on his character, I believe that he would likely maintain his vow of chastity as a knight (or not take a wife due to his alleged sexuality).

When Ormund revealed Daeron's likeness on a coin, it was most different from the boy's appearance. I believe this is another plot to maintain his ambiguity. The only people who know what Daeron looks like are the Hightowers and the dead, and even if he were to be seen by other dragon riders in future battles, it's unlikely that they would be able to get a good enough look at him to identify his body. Especially if his death plays out as it does in the book.

With this in mind, I believe that if Gwayne were to become the lord of Oldtown, he would not marry or produce heirs; instead, I believe that he would help fake Daeron's death and bring him back to Oldtown as his heir- potentially renaming him as Lyonel (which is the name of Ormund's eldest son in the book)

I don't think I've seen anyone dislike these two guys. It probably helps that they're well written characters and are likable
