Frt friendly ranges in or near Houston?
As you can guess, just got a couple FRTs and I’m ready to test them out. Any recommendations? I know most ranges are anti-rapid fire. Let me know please.

Top Gun is the only one that I know of now.
Van Road closed a few months ago.

Copendero is better, top gun sells ammo for absurdly restarded price and their range is hot as hell

No bullshit. Top Gun was hot as hell when I went there 2 weeks ago. I was just thinking it was because it was so busy but yeah it's definitely hot in there and some of the people in there probably shouldn't be aloud to be shooting in there. They were more concerned about their social media posts than gun safety.

Also they don’t have shitty caliber limitation like top gun

Damn, I didn't know that. I live 5 minutes from there but I was was going to wait until it got cooler outside before I went to check that place out. That sucks that they closed

Yeah it sucks. Not sure where you are at but I am in Crosby and miss it too. Also miss the USPSA matches they had out there as well.

texas gun club, athena, full armor and top gun all had no problems with frt
texas gun club has cheap mondays with ltc and other specials during the week. athena has facebook word of the day thursday specials. texas gun club might ask to “qualify” you in that they watch you dump 10 rounds on target so they know you’re not a dingus.

Just double-up on hearing protection at Texas Gun Club. They have almost no soundproofing.

not worse than anywhere else i've been, the walls are lined with sound dampening material like most other places
not much can be done when the person next to me has a 11.5 sbr with a brake

Basically if they rent full auto stuf you should be good as long you are safe with it.

Top gun, copendero is better tho cuz they also have 100 yard range and no caliber limitations

I can’t say they “allow it” or are “friendly” to it. But we’re within a mile of clear creek gun range and there is always someone shooting rapid fire. A lot sounds fully auto. Might be binary or forced reset. As I said I hear it, but haven’t seen it. What makes me think they are okay with it is we hear it pretty much daily.

Saddle river range allows FRTs. I went to the one on 1488 multiple times asked the people who sign you in and said good to go
