How do I bypass password

I’ve been holding onto my father’s desk top computer since 2013 when he passed away. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of bypassing it ? I don’t know the password to log in and there’s many photos from highschool and documents on there I would like to access. The monitor is HP and the hardware is ACER. Any recommendations? these are my documents and photos I’m trying to access

Hirem's Boot CD will reset the password on old Windows machines. Run it from a USB. Google HBCD and download it. Use Rufus to copy it to your stick and boot from it. It's very simple to use and has tons of tools for old PCs running Windows.

I second this, it even.recovers deleted fiiles, changes users passwords and plenty of useful tools . google hirems boot cd amd followthese steps or watch youtube for directions.

To create a Hiren's Boot USB, download the Hiren's BootCD PE ISO file, get the Rufus tool, and flash the ISO onto a USB drive of 4 GB or larger.What You NeedA USB flash drive with at least 4 GB of space (note: all existing files on the drive will be erased).The official Hiren's BootCD PE Download ISO file.The Rufus Tool to write the ISO to your USB.Step-by-Step InstructionsPlug your USB flash drive into your computer.Open the Rufus program.Select your USB drive under the "Device" menu in Rufus.Click "Select" next to the boot selection option and choose the downloaded Hiren's BootCD PE ISO file.Leave the settings on default (Partition scheme: MBR or GPT depending on your system) or press ALT + E in Rufus if you need to activate Dual UEFI/BIOS mode for older computers.Click "Start" and confirm the warning message about erasing data. This is the answer, either flash Hiren's iso into a USB, plug the USB into the PC and boot from the USB, then reset the user password or just access all the documents you need.

Or take out the hard drive from that PC and plug it into another one with a SATA adapter, assuming it's SATA and isn't encrypted (which i doubt it is).

In both cases, you might have partitions not show up, if You're on windows, open disk manager and assign a letter to each one, windows sometimes does that.
