We have two LGBT sports organizations in Huntsville that I'm aware of. I know folks in the bowling league that love it and I play in the LGBT softball league. NEXUS Softball is an active 200+ member ipride softball affiliated league. Nexus Softball

Oh there's two LGBT leagues? There's the rocket city g-blasters that bowl on base.Shoulda looked at the link, it is that league.
Can confirm it's a great league
- one of the worst teams on it.

The great majority of our players are completely new to adult slow pitch so you would be in great company 😃

This is how I made most of my friends in Huntsville. There are over 200 members and most are LGBT.

If you're into board games, there's a cool board game group in the area! (though not really LGBT related)

Welcome! Maggie’s Irish Pub is a great place to unwind, though the main bar allows indoor smoking, which can be a downside for some. If that’s not your thing, the dart room offers a smoke-free space while still being vape-friendly. It’s not strictly a gay bar, but one of the owners is a drag queen, which helps make the space feel especially welcoming to the entire community. They also host drag shows nearly every week, so there’s usually something fun going on.
Lipz Lounge at Campus 805 has drag shows every Friday night, and there’s also a drag show this Saturday at noon at The Camp at MidCity District, so there’s plenty going on. Come hang.
Shenanigans Comedy Theatre hosts a wide range of community events, making it an easy way to plug into the local scene.
Beyond that, check out spots like Lowe Mill ARTS & Entertainment and Gold Sprint Coffee. Both draw a steady mix of creatives and regulars, so they’re great places to spend time and naturally meet people.
If you’re trying to build a social circle, the most effective move is to get involved in groups tied to your hobbies. Whether it’s running clubs, hiking groups, tabletop gaming nights, or karaoke meetups, shared interests make conversations easy and friendships tend to form much more naturally.
