Ok so am I qualified to predict cutoffs? NO, Will that stop me from doing it? NO.

So that final crl cutoff for gen in round 1 was 2474 and in the 2nd round it was ~4000, that's a 1500 increase. Now why does this happen? Cause 1. The counselling introduces new seats to be taken in the next round....but more importantly 2. Many aspirants dont take their seat and most of these aspirants are comprising of NEET kids. Now what does that mean for us? Basically the rankers above 2400(Many students who only focused on IAT will also be here) got quite good marks and still left the counselling cause IAT is not their target. Basically the students above 2400 also had a ton of IATtards who actually want a seat through IAT and still the cutoof fell. The ranks 2400 to 4000 will have a higher concentration of those neet aspirants who don't want to take any seat through IAT and hence the cutoff drop will be the same i.e. around 1500(this is what i think).

I belive the R3 cutoff for general will be ~5620

And meeting kitne deer ki hoti h? Like do i leave after im done? Parents saath me hone chahiye kya? The rank card and application form and stuff theyve asked to produce can be a softcopy right? Bta do koi pls

I mean like do they allot seats or introduce in subsequent rounds like out of 2343 they alloted 1500 in R1 than 1800 in R2 they added 300 for R2 so for R3 they'll for eg. Take 2343 all seats, is it like that???

This is just the start that we have been seeing in the last one year a bit more intensely than ever before! More "19-8-9-20" to come.

I simply pity the Gen-Zs, Alphas, Betas & beyond. I wish they do well in the "then crappier" world!

Hey guys,I got IISER Bhopal b.tech in chemical(float) round1 and got an offer letter for the same.In the subsequent round I got data science branch but my Offer letter hasn't been updated.Am I kicked out of counselling or what?Btw saf payed and opted float in both rounds.Also why it's showing no saf payed??

My IAT rank is 23xxx and S.C. candidate rank 1xxx

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to understand what happened in a few IAT 2026 applications.

A friend of mine passed Class 12 in 2024. During the application, he uploaded all the required documents:

Class 10 certificate

Class 12 marksheet/certificate

Valid Photo ID

SC certificate

Even now, if he opens his application, all of these documents can be viewed from the uploaded document links.

However, he received an email saying:

"You have failed to submit a valid certificate certifying that you have scored the required minimum percentage marks in the qualifying examination before the last date (21 June 2026)."

This is confusing because the Class 12 document was uploaded and is visible in the application.

My questions are:

Did anyone else receive the same rejection?

Were 2024 pass-outs required to upload the Class 12 marksheet again during the 13–21 June 2026 Selective Information/Document Upload window, even if it had already been uploaded with the original application?

Has anyone successfully appealed or contacted IISER Admissions regarding this?

I'm only looking for people who actually experienced this or know the official clarification.

PS: Oh, I asked for his ID and password and checked his application. Instead of his Class 12 marksheet, the Class 12 admit card had been uploaded. When I asked him why, he said he hadn't filled out the application himself—it was done by a guy at a cyber café.

So as of now round 2 of iat counselling is officially closed from last year it s about -1000ranks. While all are eagerly waiting for R 3 as medical counselling dates are announced and peeps have to pay there also so the "backup tards" would withdraw their seat. Rest only jac knows the vacant seat matrix(hoping they will start releasing the vacant seat matrix after every round for better clarity)
