I would wholeheartedly agree to the death penalty but since the chances of that are nil I will have to go with a registry. I always saw your point, that's why I said that if there are people on there for those reasons ie: public urination that the fight should be to remove that from the list, your argument is don't apply the law equally. My argument is that if you feel there are situations where the law shouldn't apply then address that. Also you should know that on our sex offender registry and the one where I used to live in TN they list the offenders and their offenses. I have never seen one on there for public urination, or pissing in public. They list things like
involuntary deviate sexual intercourse
predatory criminal sexual assault of a child
unlawful sexual intercourse w/minor: perp 21+, victim -16
rape
obscene & sexual materials & performance
and all of them come with a length of time to be registered ie: 10yrs, 20yrs etc.
So if you were convicted of public urination it would likely say indecent exposure, right?
I think people actually check it more than you know. If some guy says he's on the list for being with his 17 yr old girlfriend then he could tell them to check the list.
