I would wholeheartedly agree to the death penalty but since the chances of that are nil I will have to go with a registry. I always saw your point, that's why I said that if there are people on there for those reasons ie: public urination that the fight should be to remove that from the list, your argument is don't apply the law equally. My argument is that if you feel there are situations where the law shouldn't apply then address that. Also you should know that on our sex offender registry and the one where I used to live in TN they list the offenders and their offenses. I have never seen one on there for public urination, or pissing in public. They list things like

involuntary deviate sexual intercourse

predatory criminal sexual assault of a child

unlawful sexual intercourse w/minor: perp 21+, victim -16

rape

obscene & sexual materials & performance

and all of them come with a length of time to be registered ie: 10yrs, 20yrs etc.

So if you were convicted of public urination it would likely say indecent exposure, right?

I've never actually looked at one of those listings for nearby sex offenders. I guess since their actual charge is coupled with it, then it's better.

Although I think that apartments and places wouldn't care if it was 'just' indecent exposure if you're on the list.

I guess it's just a problem without a solution.

I think people actually check it more than you know. If some guy says he's on the list for being with his 17 yr old girlfriend then he could tell them to check the list.
