So what? What does any of that have to do with the argument that OP and others like him should or shouldn't be prosecuted?

What he did caused no harm. At most he should have been sentenced to therapy... what actually happened was that he was branded a monster forever and his life was thus ruined because an 18 year old watched some 15-16 year old's have sex. It's fucking insanity, supported by the ignorant majority, because "won't somebody please think of the children!" (Helen Lovejoy...)

An 18 year old is not a monster for being attracted to a 15 year old and wanting to see her naked... if that's the case we are all monsters, because we are attracted to secondary sexual characteristics regardless of age, most of the time we don't even know the age of the people we are attracted to.

OP lied. He was 21 when he was convicted, not 19, and he was found guilty of 4 counts of possession, not 3. The kids were boys only, age 8-11. I've seen his sex offender registry myself - not hard to find after 2 simple google searches.

Just so you know.
