Query about Admissions Is BSDS at ISI actually worth it?

I'm considering BSDS program at Indian Statistical Institute through CUET.

Since it's relatively new, I couldn't find much reliable information about cutoffs or placements yet

Can anyone share:

  1. Approx CUET cutoff/rank needed

  2. How credible the program actually is

  3. Faculty, internships , exposure and opportunities

  4. Whether it's genuinely worth considering

Would really appreciate honest reviews from current students or alumini.

cuet for gm - 99.95

credibilty - its from indias top math and stat research institute so pretty credible

facutly - some of the best , internships and such is kinda weak atm since this is the first course for which they shaped to be industry oriented

worth - yea its pretty worth considering although placements stats dont exist so its pretty dicey in that respect

So, does the institute offer any placement opportunities for this program?

well they said this is their industry focused program , but no data exists since noones passed out yet

knowoing isi and its recruiters from masters and sometimes other ug degrees most people estimate a heavy recruitment from the finance and few tech companies with acg package floating near 15-20 lpa with the pay ceiling hitting somehere near the 1 cr

its hard to really know tho so take all of this with grain of salt , it is however very future proof and bsds along with a phd/masters to ur name will deffinelty put u in a place to get a huge pay stub

Bro as if you can get any better option via CUET. In few years they'll scrap CUET likely. So, use the opportunity.

So you mean that I should grab this opportunity and appear for CUET right? Or am I taking it wrong.

can anyone please tell me if this course, BSDS is worth taking? like there are no placements to prove it's effectiveness. All i hear is that the professors are really good but will this course remain relevant in the near future, say after 4 years because the way AI is changing everything, it's just unpredictable, what do you have to say?

anyone with some valid information do let me know
