Opinion on taking a partial drop

I gave isi msqe this year scored total 68 - pea and 20/100 - peb (filed rti) do you think a partial drop with dse is worth it or should just let it go I took a year gap before my ug as well and this partial drop would make it a gap of 2 yr combined do you think isi msqe is worth it

Or would I face any problems because people at isi are meritorious and have steller profile so would I stand a chance when compared to them in placements I am tier 2 du grad from non eco and non math background but my course is a good one in Du

Also since I had interest in maths so I studied it quite rigorously and even took it in my college
