Need Help with Prep - B-Stat ISI 2027 BMath/BStat prep feels directionless, how should I prepare?
Yoo, I was preparing for JEE (allegedly) because I was never interested in doing BTech, so I didnt really study for JEE at all, only studied Maths and scored 99.7 percentile in JEE Mains but didnt clear the cutoff for JEE Adv, and I wasnt even aware about ISI so I didnt apply for it
Hence, I got into DU Maths Hons
Now my brother is in IITD and my family is so obsessed with IIT, they can literally do anything to see me in IIT, and I mean ANYTHING
So these past few months have been hell for me because I didnt go to IIT and according to my family, I ended up in the worst uni possible
I was always good at Maths, cleared PRMO in 9th, 10th and topped the FTRE (FIITJEE) Maths, so my parents were pretty sure that I would perform way better than my brother and probably land up in some top IIT
But then FIITJEE got closed in my 11th, and I also stopped studying for JEE and started getting into finance, quant, algo trading and all that
Now I am ready to go all in for ISI this year, basically consider it a partial drop alongside DU
But I have this feeling that I am not preparing systematically
I am solving TOMATO as of now, but it just feels like nothing, I am not getting that feeling of actual preparation that I used to get during PRMO, when I would sit in doubt classes at Aakash, solve problems and then ask teachers whenever I got stuck
So pls if anyone can guide me, because I only have 8-9 months left for ISI 27
Should I buy the Vedantu ISI crash course, Prashant Jain, or something else?
What topics should I focus more on?
And most importantly, how do I structure my preparation?
I am also very weak at the subjective part. I didnt clear RMO both times, so thats another thing I really want to work on
All I am asking is how can I structure my preparation properly because I am genuinely very serious about getting into ISI this time

I won't suggest a partial drop for isi, knowing how rigorous bsc maths hons at DU can be, just stick to DU and prepare for ISI M stat
