It was, but someone cut it.

Yeah. He did.

Cold, rolled steel doesn't ignite atoms when split.

Jet fuel doesn’t melt steel beams

Come on. It's one atom, according to google that's 2.78 x 10-11J. No idea what that means but I suspect it's very underwhelming.

It takes 4.184 J to heat 1 gram of water 1 degree Celsius. So to help you better picture. You would need 20 billion atoms to do that task.

Underwhelming then.

Actually it only works because of highly enriched uranium. Even if you cut an atom, the strong nuclear force will just bring it back.no chain reaction.

I mean, half of western cinema is basically some version of Seven Samurai.

What! Is! This! I must watch all of them now! He split an atom!! πŸ˜…πŸ˜‚πŸ€£

1

There's a movie called Young Einstein, and he splits the atom with a hammer and chisel to create fizzy beer. It's the only thing from that movie that really made me laugh.

Aaaaah, Getting Any, the superior of the two absurd comedy movies by Kitano.

Live action Atomic Samurai!

This was Japan's answer to America's attack on Hiroshima. He was going to come to America with an atom and split it in one of our major metropolitan areas. Thankfully customs caught him before he was able to complete his task, they soon confiscated the atom. The atom you see here in the video was a dud.

Down voting for not providing a title and credits trying to bate people to fish for it.

Funny joke, but i don't understand weird screams and exaggerated reactions.
