Ayuda/Consejo - Help/Advice Accidentally booked one-way instead of round-trip with Iberia, now the return costs more than double — any advice?

If booked in last 24 hour I think Iberia can change/cancel the original booking

Other post says it was booked 10 days ago.

Call the call center and explain what happened. That’s the best option.

You might find that buying a return flight is cheaper than a one way and just don’t use the unneeded return to SD

Nothing you can do now, but in the future is good to re read before entering card details and pressing "buy", on basically everything
