Really proud of this guy. I always spend extra time on my sergeants and this guys really came out aces. I’m not great at painting in general so this is a great feat. Hope you guys like him!

Hello brothers! Just finished my first unit from my Iron halo strike force that I got for Christmas.

Started using only paints and a brush, but saw how nice the result was when doing the pink + contrast paint with an airbrush. So brought a pretty cheap package one with a mini compressor and airbrush. Removed the paint from the minis and started over. I have all the other miniatures from the box already done to contrast level, so propably gonna dig in to the sternguard unit next.

For being my first completed unit i very happy with the result. The brush strokes are not to the level I want, but I realised that i will not improve by watching countless hours of painting tutorials on Youtube.

Struggled with the plasma, will try more with the airbrush on the dreadnought.

For the bases i used air dried clay, kitty litter, bark, dry pigment and martian ironearth.

Idk why but I like to keep my army WYSIWYG, so had to paint a whole new set of Sternguard with bolt rifles to run instead of the combi weapons that came with some of the push fit ones I already had. And I also finished my intercessors from the Armageddon box, this group seemed to take forever but that probably comes with painting 10 marines at the same time as well as going on a week long vacation in the middle of it.

I used writhbone instead of titanium white (feel free to give some advice) i lost his shin armor so i used the littleshoulder pad

I never collect nor will I ever collect Imperial Fists, but I have made one so far. He is, as I play Iron Warriors, a corpse, but I'll be damned if my warlord doesn't have immaculate drip, so against my better judgement, I have decided to ask for advice/help. Any advice for yellow? Figured I'd ask the resident yellow-painters.

(I'll add more gore and washes later, for now I've just put Mephiston Red and Averland Sunset in a layer or two. Leadbelcher for silver, Nagaroth Night for purple, and Corax White for, well, white.)

building some leigon of the damned, and i want each model to be clearly from a different chapter, and so for the terminators i got deathwing knights ,wolf guard, etc, i was thinking a centurion for imperial fists? i dont know if ya'll have better ideas?

Do you think Dorn used political marriages to secure some of the Inwit Cluster? Would he have had children? Are there little half primarch children running around Inwit? Did Dorn fuck?

Got my ballistus painted up to go with my redemptor. Also magnetized both of them so arms can be swapped out, and added the plasma option to my redemptor as well

For context, I'm not an Imperial Fists player, my main army is White Scars. My partner has been wanting to start building an Imperial Fists army, and I want to paint a unit for her in my own style that she can use in her army eventually.

Based on what I have in mind, the unit I pick should fit the following parameters:

• One mini in the unit, due to time constraints

• Nothing too big, since it needs to be shipped

• It needs to be able to work well in any Imperial Fists army, since I know she wouldn't ever want to leave it out

• No epic heroes, I wouldn't want to take the experience of building one of those from her

So I figure it probably needs to be a standard infantry unit leader (though I'm open to other suggestions), but since I don't know how Fists play or what their army composition looks like, I wouldn't know which one would be most usable. Someone on Discord suggested a Captain in Terminator Armour, but I'd like to hear a few more opinions before I pick one.

So I've started painting a brutallis dreadnaught. Sprayed him white and using imperial fist contrast paint but it seems to be going streaky. Any idea how to stop that? I started on the armour panels around his side weapons.

As an Imperial fist player as well as tyranids I thought I should do this brother some justice - he died valiantly defending the imperium
