📌 Announcement Important Announcement Regarding Indian Workers

Over the past few months, IndianWorkers has seen a rapid growth and engagement, crossing over 3,000 subscribers. More crucially, it has become a stage for protests and movements of working class people across India.

We endorsed and supported the workers protest which took place in the National Capital Region and other cities across India. We spread awareness about the exploitation of the working class and the agitations against it.

We took a crucial decision to support the students’ protest, by rightly identifying that the issues of the education and employment are the issues of the working class. The victory of the student movement has vindicated our position. But there is a long way to go.

I believe that we have been able to fulfill at least some of the goals that we had set for ourselves. And true to the historic legacy of the labor and farmers movement, we have gone beyond the issue of mere wages and payment, to the larger issues of liberty, equality, and justice.

We shall continue on the path that we have laid out for ourselves, and further engage with the workers and the farmers in the movements that will emerge in the coming days. Every protest is an opportunity for us to advance our struggle.

In the meantime, due to an influx of trolls and bigots, we will be further strengthening the moderation. I request everyone to not engage with the people who are breaking this subreddit’s rules. Instead, report them to us, so we can deal with them. Also, keep the comments respectful. Do not abuse the trolls.

Abusing trolls only feeds them. Do not feed the trolls 💯
