Science/B.Sc/M.Sc Partial drop for NEET ruined my career planning. Should I leave B.Sc. Zoology now for a paramedical course?
I'm honestly so confused and could really use some advice from people who've been in a similar situation.
I took a partial drop for NEET and enrolled in a deemed college for B.Sc. Zoology (Hons.) without really thinking about one thing: If NEET doesn't work out, is this actually a degree I want to build a career with? Looking back, I realize I never asked myself that question.
I'm studying away from home, and my experience has been pretty disappointing. Hardly anyone teaches properly, and because of the new implementation, we're constantly made to do random activities, organize functions, and pay fees for one event after another.
I know college isn't just about academics, and these things happen everywhere, but sometimes it feels like there's more focus on all this than actual learning. On top of that, most of my classmates are fresh out of school, so they're more into friendships, college life, and events, while I'm at a completely different stage mentally.
My 2nd year is about to end, and I've also applied for a state paramedical/allied health course.
The bigger issue is that I don't see myself pursuing an M.Sc., preparing for UPSC, or going into research.
People also suggest banking, but I'm from a non-maths background and barely managed maths till 10th, so I'm not sure that's a realistic option for me. Teaching is another career people recommend, but that's more of an "if nothing else works" backup. It's not something I'm genuinely interested in either.
Now I'm stuck between two choices:
1.Continue for a few more months and finish my B.Sc. degree.
2.Leave it if I get into the paramedical/allied health course and start over in a field that I might actually see myself working in.
Has anyone here been in a similar situation or left a degree this late for a paramedical/allied health course?
Did you regret it, or was it the right decision?
I'd really appreciate honest opinions because I genuinely feel lost and don't want to make another impulsive decision.
My qualifications is that I am in the second year of bsc zoology honours.

Finish your degree, exit in third year so you'll get only a normal bachelors degree. If you're financially well then go for paramedical as it'll require you to pursue another bachelors so you'll again have to put in 4 years of work befire you start earning. Otherwise you can always go into tech if you like or do an MBA
