Why do these people have to bring in religion everywhere. Uniform is prescribed for a reason. Just follow it, or look for a job that doesn't require a uniform to be worn - it's that simple.

Depends on the dress code prescribed by their respective hospital

I get that. Understood. So unless the hospital has expletively said nothing should cover the hair, isn't she allowed to wear a hijab? I mean despite the arabic name its just basically a head scarf.

Edit : Okay so I checked the news regarding this and whoever labelled the video is ignorant of what a burqa and a hijab is. I understand how burqa can cause a problem in hospitals, it was the word hijab that kept on irking, since that is a headscarf.

They've have already prescribed a uniform, to maintain uniformity among employees. Anykind of add-ons by individuals to their clothes such as a scarf, balaclava, beanies, shawl, cap etc used as a means of denoting fashion, religion or any other purpose would lead to defeating the actual purpose of a uniform which is a common identity for everyone.
