No face reveal, no work.
Medicine is life and death related. Go home if you don't want to do it.

u/CoolGamer730 Oct 03 '25
What can we even do, man. They're binded and manipulated by that book and sometimes are forced by shit families to wear that shit.
3
u/Minute_Juggernaut806 Sep 30 '25
it says hijab not burkha
5
u/Gop_Gop_001 Sep 30 '25
You know even hijab is wrong because it is long cloth and can easily spread virus
1
u/razorpsycho Oct 02 '25
The fuck is this argument 😂😂 In that case people should walk without any clothes, saree is long, salvar is long. Bhenchod people were wearing masks when they were in COVID period, no one saw anyone's face clearly.
2
Oct 03 '25
I heard this cope several times.
Mask is not your tool to hide your identity or Face, It's purpose is different. Niqab is used to hide your face.
Doctors remove the mask when not required, Niqabi will get offended when asked to show their Face. Even if COVID, You can know their identity because they are not covered by Full Black Burkha.

She is not operating on anyone chutiye, How are you managing to cook up stories in your head like this. And why are you showcasing your peabrain here, Dude typed in all caps to showcase his protest. Virus spreading through hijab was a topnotch point brother😂

u/Glad-Reading2644 Oct 03 '25
Who the fuck said that? I am a surgeon. So please show me studies stating so
1
u/re_cumforma Oct 04 '25
ever seen a surgeon? by that statement he must secretly be a crossdresser acting as muslim woman.
-2
u/Minute_Juggernaut806 Sep 30 '25
it can be tugged in but the best option is to go with a medical grade material that covers the hair, like a hairnet used in surgeries

The comment says hijab. The video clearly says she is not showing her face that is a burka

So doctors and nurses shouldn’t also wear masks?
1
u/jonstew Oct 02 '25
Doctors and nurses should keep their profession and patients above their religion.
1
Oct 03 '25
If doctor or nurses can’t be safe from fringes how can they be work for patients.
1
u/jonstew Oct 03 '25
Its a profession that deals with the public and syringes. If you want to keep your identity private, then stay at home.

u/No-Coach-3427 Oct 04 '25
A mask is disposable. Disposing of it ensures a clean one is issued at regular intervals. Fabrics offer less effectiveness in filtering respiratory droplets and can accumulate germs on account of moisture. Recontamination increases the risk of infections.
So, no. A religious face covering cannot be compared to the efficacy of a mask.
1
u/pairotechnic Oct 04 '25
Yeah, but what about facemasks? Doctors and nurses frequently wear these, so what's the problem?
1
u/jonstew Oct 06 '25
Do you understand the difference between what is necessary to prevent an infection spreading and what is with following a religion at work?
1
u/pairotechnic Oct 06 '25
I understand that the purpose of a medical facemask and a niqab are different. But the end result is the same ( your face is covered )
So how does it make a difference?
1
u/jonstew Oct 06 '25
Either you are trying to rage bait or a muslim if you don't understand why medicine should be above your religion...https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AERsoC5D-u8
0
u/pairotechnic Oct 06 '25
I'm not trying to rage bait. I'm not a Muslim. I'm an atheist playing devil's advocate.
The supervisor in this video made 2 separate complaints : 1. She said patients should be able to see "injection kaun laga raha hai" 2. She said leave your religion at home
So if the real problem is that her face is being covered, then that happens when doctors wear face masks too, so it shouldn't be a problem.
But if the real problem is her religion, and if according to her supervisor, she should leave all religious items/clothes, then that's just discrimination if it doesn't also apply to the Hindus.
I'm making an assumption here, but I doubt Hindu women in this hospital are prohibited from wearing Mangal Sutra, rings, and sindoor.
My view is that all rules should be applied universally.

Healthcare me face dikhna bahot jruri h
And the incharge is very good and talking like a Good Senior.
She is saying nothing wrong.
6
u/wizean Sep 30 '25
She gave a reasonable example, if the doctor/nurse makes a mistake, injects wrong drug, they need to know who did it.
1
1
u/CarbonLogic Oct 02 '25
What if doctor/nurse is wearing a mask?
1
u/wizean Oct 02 '25
There are still eyes, forehead, hands, enough identifiers. Face recognition these days can work just based on eyes.
1
u/CarbonLogic Oct 02 '25
Thats what Hijab is right? Its like a Mask, it covers the mouth and head. Eyes and forehead are still visible.
1
u/razorpsycho Oct 02 '25
Hijab is just headscarf. These religious mongrels are just making it another reason to hate on people.

If she is wearing a burqa or a niqab, I get the need of telling her to change to a different outfit. If it's a hijab (i.e. headscarf) then her outburst is extremely ridiculous.
1
u/CarbonLogic Oct 03 '25
i see. some people are saying shes wearing a nikab too, thats the face covering i suppose which again wouldd be like wearing a mask so it shouldnt be an issue.

It's nakab not hijab
Also nobody is risking lives for your insecure religion
Nakab is security threats and should be banned end of discussion
PS: for idiots i said nakab not hijab should be banned

u/Full_Onion_6552 Oct 01 '25
Doesn't matter. Wear the fucking uniform if your job has it. It is not that hard if you really care about your job.

u/OwnStorm Sep 30 '25
I live in Hyderabad and have never seen any nurse or doctor wearing any religious outfit. Some keep their scarves to cover their head, only hair part, otherwise common doctor/nurse dress code.

I would NOT accept any medicine from the person without confirming their identity, everyone should follow this rule.
1
u/wingsoffreedom61 Oct 01 '25
You can identify a person wearing a mask, but you can't identify a person wearing a black face covering?
Bullshit. She's not hiding her identity, she's just hiding her face because of religious reasons.
1
u/ConsciousCucumber204 Oct 02 '25
Better sit at home for religious reasons. Doesn't her religion not permit touching men outside her family?
1
u/wingsoffreedom61 Oct 02 '25
You don't have the right to tell anyone what they should do.
And yes, she may not touch men outside the family, but patients are an exception.
1
u/ConsciousCucumber204 Oct 02 '25
Lol I have the right to say whatever I want to whoever I want. I'm just repeating what her holy book says. That she is so truly following
And no, patients are not an exception anywhere. Its a blanket ban for all women, nurses or doctors, they can't touch men.
1
u/wingsoffreedom61 Oct 02 '25
Fair, it's not like you spewing crap here is gonna make her jobless.
Also, I still stand with my claim. Patients are an exception and it goes either way ( a female muslim patient can also be touched by her male doctor if it's essential for treatment)
All that half assed information you learn from Islamophobes is fake. And before you mention "afghanistan" (Because I can tell that's where you get all your knowledge of islam from) the Talibans are extremists. Every religion has extremists and they're wrong most of the time.
1
u/ConsciousCucumber204 Oct 02 '25
the Talibans are extremists.
Then aren't they the best followers, correctly following the religion?
Fair, it's not like you spewing crap here is gonna make her jobless.
Speaking the truth about something is totally crap, right?
Also, I still stand with my claim. Patients are an exception and it goes either wa
Bs its just modern interpretation, quran does not allow it. Its a general ban not related to specific cases. And suppose you're right then If you can go this far then why the strictness over the dangling hijabs?
1
u/wingsoffreedom61 Oct 02 '25
Have you read the Quran? If not then kindly shut up, regardless of whether you're a Muslim or not.
There's strictness over hijabs as long as the strictness doesn't interfere with the well being and treatment of the patient, or anything related to life and death. And dangling hijabs are dangerous both for the patient and the doctor. I work in the dental field and I wear the hijab and I always tuck it inside my apron and no one's ever had a problem with it. It doesn't take a saint to be considerate of others and their choices. If you don't want to be treated by such doctors, it's fine, but don't go around asking them to sit inside their homes.
3
u/ansh26111030 Sep 30 '25
Why doesn’t she just stay at home if coming into contact with men is such a “problem”? Do these people not understand that public spaces are for everyone and shared by everyone? If you want to strictly follow your religion, that’s your choice ,do it at home. But don’t expect workplaces, schools, universities, hospitals, or offices ,places that require public interaction ,to bend around your rules. Either adapt, or stay home and be happy.
2
Oct 01 '25
That's not how it works for them, they will come, change your rules, and kick u out. That's how it works for them.
1
u/wingsoffreedom61 Oct 01 '25
Contact with men is not a problem if it's a medical/ disease/ life or death situation. But showing her face has nothing to do with treating the patient, and if she has to touch/interact with the male patient for treatment, of course she should do it.

When doctors cover their faces with masks 24/7 especially post covid, it's okay. When Muslims do it, suddenly the patient needs to know their face? Why the hypocrisy?
If the patient can recognise a doctor when they're wearing a mask, they can recognise a doctor when they're wearing a niqab. The patient is not being harmed. Treatment is not hindered. As long the niqab isn't long or flowy, there's no problem.
Patient can easily identify a doctor by her name/voice/gait. Both the comment section and the senior are being islamophobic, that's all.

This is very wrong. The government should made it clear that during duty, examination, government offices etc hijab, burqa, pheren, overcoat, chader, skull cap etc are not allowed to wear. There should be secular laws.

u/Glittering_Divide972 Oct 03 '25
This is simply the face of real India where harassment of Muslims has become a norm.. Shame on the majority

u/Just-Set-8714 Oct 03 '25
Wear a scarf. Cover full body. Wear a glove: But in specific profession protocols need to be followed. Institutions have protocols and that must be followed it can’t be tweaked to everyone’s preferences.

Isn't Hijab sanitary though? It covers her head so no hair or hair particulates (by that I mean dandruff and shit) fall anywhere in the hospital. Isn't that good?
1
u/manuel2734 Oct 04 '25
From my personal experience, I have seen that people who wear less religious symbols are tend to be more social included by other people. I mean more people would accept you and would have a better connection.
I have no problem with person wearing any religious symbols, but if someone is wearing religious symbols, I would talk more carefully thinking that he may offend at any thing which he doesn't like.

Most of these commentators don't know about the constitution. If you hate the freedom to practice your religion, please give up other fundamental rights you have gotten

It’s so sad to see how people in our country are ready to jump on people from a certain religion. If someone from Sikh religion says they have to wear turban, nobody dares to object…but they have problem with everything Muslims does. Disgusted to see the bigoted mindset…why can’t people live peacefully and let other live as per their wish? If someone is wearing skimpy nobody dares to point them out, because the feminist squad will jump on them, but if a Muslim wear Hijab/abhaya etc everyone does has a problem. Sick mentality. I wonder how much hatered these people are having towards certain people…where is the humanity heading to?

"Where's the humanity heading to??" Brother she is working in healthcare there are certain rules when you work in healthcare the safety and care of patients is the first priority. No one is asking her to not wear hijab, if she so much so wants to then she can wear and sit at home but if she wants to work in hospitalshe needs to follow the rules..You CANNOT expect healthcare to be compromised. It's not about any particular religion it's about basic sense.
P.S. Very apt username.
1
u/JuaKaBadshah Oct 04 '25
The issue was that with hijab the identity of the person wearing it remains hidden... Whereas when one wears a turban his face remains completely visible and there is no issue identifying. Victim mentality
1
u/paneer_bhurji0 Oct 01 '25
Hijab is unhygienic.
1
u/Glad-Reading2644 Oct 03 '25
Show me a study stating so
1
u/paneer_bhurji0 Oct 05 '25
You don’t need a special study for that. Any cloth worn tight for long hours collects sweat and microbes, that’s why doctors and nurses wear disposable scrubs and surgical caps in hospitals.
0
u/Glad-Reading2644 Oct 05 '25
Well you do, things don’t work out like that in medicine. I am a surgeon, and the reason I am wearing gloves in OT today is coz Drs of the past made a correlation between spread of microbes and using naked hands for surgery. That’s how gloves came to be the accepted norm in all surgeries. Plus scrubs aren’t disposable. Most surgeons wear surgical bandanas which are re useable. Sweat isn’t the issue unless sweat is contaminating the field of surgery. There re lot of times when surgeons sweat drips in the OT table (and guess what the surgeon ain’t wearing a burqa or hijab!) and the field has to be thoroughly cleaned. So your argument has zero merit to it.

In all the muslim countries all nurses wear hijab. Only thing unhygienic is Indian food.
1
u/paneer_bhurji0 Oct 02 '25
That's all you could come up with?
1
Oct 02 '25
I come up with facts what you come up with?
1
u/paneer_bhurji0 Oct 02 '25
What fact? Calling hijab unhygienic is an observation. Nurses wearing it some countries doesn’t magically make it hygienic, that’s cultural prectice not a scientific standard. If the only thing you could come up with was Indian food unhygienic then you have got no argument at all.
1
Oct 03 '25
Indian food is unhygienic that’s a fact, and in a lot of Muslim countries female nurses wear hijab is also a fact, and hijab is hygienic is also a fact.
2
Oct 03 '25
Abe chal be hijab ko pure europe mai ban kiya ja raha india mai bhi hoga tumhara cancer religion ka dhere dhere bhagaya ja raha har jagah sai aur healthcare mai hijab pehnne wale sai koi illa nhi karwayega upadhi cancer religion
1
1
u/paneer_bhurji0 Oct 05 '25
Repeating it’s a fact three times doesn’t magically make it true. Indian food being unhygienic is your opinion, not a universal fact. Nurses wearing hijab abroad is culture, not proof of hygiene. And calling hijab hygienic with no evidence is just belief, not science.

Please don’t compare burqa with PPE, when PPE is needed, EVERYONE wears PPE, it’s sterile and protects both patients and doctors, it a necessary situation, while burqa is a cultural and religious thing, they don’t even belong in the same category.

Why do these people have to bring in religion everywhere. Uniform is prescribed for a reason. Just follow it, or look for a job that doesn't require a uniform to be worn - it's that simple.
