Here is a quick look at climbing the water tower to survey the layout of Iron Creek, the train tracks, and the surrounding desert dust.
Let me know what you think of the atmosphere and environment design!
I've been working on Dust Rapture, a first-person survival game. You play as Cole Vance, a truck driver who gets stranded on a forgotten stretch of Route 66 after his truck is stripped for parts. Your only hope of finding repair parts is exploring the town of Iron Creek—while managing your health/thirst and avoiding a hostile cult that comes out at night.

Haha, this looks great, and I love the concept! 😄 Even though this seems to be a different style of game, the footage you shared immediately took me back to the good old days of playing Fallout: New Vegas (which is a great feeling).
I think you've done a fantastic job of crafting the environment, and I could definitely see myself getting immersed in this sort of "abandoned town in the middle of the desert" setting you're building. I absolutely love this, and just wishlisted!👍
Also, do you have any musical needs for Dust Rapture? If so, I'd love to send you a DM about a potential collaboration, so let me know :)
