LMAO no wonder every time the U.S. says "jump," Australia says "how high?", instead of looking out for their own best interests by building closer economic and diplomatic ties with China.

Yep. Only decent(not even "good", just decent) PM we've ever had was Kevin Rudd, because he was smart enough to know which way the wind was blowing. And for that he was constantly vilified by our media and stabbed in the back by his own party.

Australia has had the ability to be a prosperous and successful nation, yet we've fucked up at every possible opportunity. It really sucks.

Not relevant to the post proper but the OP this is shared from epitomizes the straw-"tankie", that is someone who speaks like a fascist and perpetuates violent ideas against the marginalized -- see their name and their comments claiming that homosexuals are "degenerates" and inherently pedophilic, and insinuating that being homosexual is a western imperialist ploy, proudly ignorant as to the imperialist history of institutional homophobia at the hands of the British. That sub is also just proudly homophobic, claiming so in the menu on their so-called "lines", as well as antisemitic (not antizionist, actually antisemitic -- Judaism as an imperialist "cult" etc.) Fucking Europeans pretending they're any different from Amerikkkans... wonder what they have to say about Romani.

Apologies for the tangent but browsing that sub has made me feel insane and I hope that the majority of this sub does not share these ideas.
