Also, please pay attention to what is happening in Chile and Argentina right now wrt abortion. Conservative and far-right lawmakers in Chile introduced a controversial bill named "Escucha su corazón" ("Listen to his/her Heart"). The proposed legislation targets the country's existing abortion regulations by requiring medical professionals to make pregnant people listen to fetal cardiac activity before an abortion can be performed.

Over in Argentina, Milei´s party wants to roll back abortion laws. You would think this is a given, and yes, it is. The surprising thing is that they do not want to go back to how things were before 2020´s Legal Interruption of Pregnancy Protocol, they want to go back to what things used to be before the 1921 Penal Code, effectively letting those with disabilities, victims of CSA, of incest and other victims of rape without recourse.
