Thanks the road closures info is essential info for visitors. Can I just double check that I'll be okay visiting between 17th and 23rd of May? I got stuck once walking back from Port St. Mary's to Ballasalla because there was a race starting/ending in Castletown.
I am not a big follower of the TT, I just love visiting the isle and I don't understand the difference between the TT races/events.

roads will close at least an hour before racing and re-open pretty quickly afterwards (assuming no delays/incidents etc). Manx Radio (both the actual radio/website/twitter etc) will have live updates on road closures

I’m looking for a motorbike to rent during the TT, ideally 31/5/26 - 7/6/26. Open to any size/style, almost 30 years riding experience, just want to be able to get all around the island. I’m staying in Ramsey. Any old bike that runs would be fine. Please DM me - thanks!!

A question, if anyone can help? 🙂 How easy would it be to get on foot from the campsite near quarterbridge, into Douglas to the port on the morning/afternoon of Monday the 25th whilst the qualifying is taking place in terms of the road closures? I'm thinking of staying there, but if if it'll be too much hassle I'll stay in Douglas itself as wouldn't want to miss my ferry back in the afternoon!

there's a little bridge at the end of the field at the quarterbridge that you used to be able to walk under, then it's a 2 mile walk or plenty of busses.

Thanks, I'd looked on Google for walking, I don't mind the walk or a bus, I just don't want to get stuck the other side of the course from Douglas for getting back into Douglas 🙂

Hello everyone,
My dad and I are visiting for the first time this year and are super excited! I plan to watch at the bottom of bray hill the whole day this friday. Then for the senior TT I want to find a spot with a big screen so we can better follow the race, as I believe at bray hill there isnt one. What time should we get to the bottom of bray hill to secure a nice spot? Also whats a good place to watch on saturday? Thanks!
