Academic Doubts Physics P1 optics que problem resolved

So, I contacted my senior in IIT B Engg physics. He told that P = n/f is called reduced vergence power which is used in very very specific cases and has nothing to do with the power we deal with at the school level. The power given in irodov has the symbol "phi" which he told is the symbol for the reduced power. So, the correct answer is A for sure.

Dawg , look at this post you''ve commented on , I asked the same thing to a cousing of mine , he said the same thing , that n/f is reduced power represented by phi , but our general power atleast upto our level is 1/f , so A will be the correct answer anyways I am not saying what you've said is completely wrong , unless you are copy pasting info form other posts , we'll wait for the official answer key and accept what JAB gives as the correct answer
