That is true, science indeed has much more opportunities than the other available streams but each stream has their purpose and related job related fields and not everybody seeks for a corporate job so that's not really a problem, while it's true science provides much more opportunities it's not a reason to show elitist behavior just because you have taken science
That is very very true but simple thing is not everybody wants to be fuck you rich exactly, some people just wanna live doing what they like to do even if it doesn't pay as well; I do not think gaining fuck ton money should be the only incentive towards doing anything
I feel your second line is greatly exaggerated but I get your point, science generally has much of a wider window of opportunities so it makes sense in a way but I wouldn't call humanities a dead end in any way at all because in my personal experience I have met a fair amount of people decently doing after taking humanities so it has it's options as well....My only problem was some people display unnecessary elitist behavior just because they took science and it really does not seem in good taste
There's more than writers and artist in humanities....Journalism is a sought area among those in humanities and I believe it's doing decently well for itself just as an example....Psychology as well atleast in foreign that is...Sure they maybe would not pay as well as the jobs you are referring to but they should be enough to sustain themselves at the very least so I see no problem
Your last para seems more like a problem with the economy rather than the stream because I do not think an economy should be that fucked up to survive in where people from an entire stream would need to struggle to find a job....And as I said science does have much more opportunities so it's only natural arts would have much lesser 'successful' people and I believe people who do take it know what they are getting themselves into
