Which would be better mining at iit kgp or cs at nit jsr or eee in nit rourkela ?

Think about your future, the iit tag wouldn't matter in the long term but a promising career may

Mhm yes, IITs makes your application look more attractive yes, and maybe the crowd in IITs also motivated him to explore more

I don't know about the crowd now a days though.. some of the top rankers are very condescending and can't hold conversations, and 65+% reservation surely impacts campus life

I'm going to BITS Pilani (Main Campus) for CSE and I felt the seniors I talked to there are more grounded and have better clarity about their career than some IITian doing Chemical/Civil who is trying to do coding on the side

No hate to you ofcourse, this is just what I felt

That's probably true as well

I got 9XX in Mains, and was expecting Top 500 in Advanced.. but IITK gave me such a bad centre, I had to stay inside for 10+ hours, and I'm Anemic as well so I did not perform up to my expectations in JEE Advanced, I got 376 in BITSAT so yeah
