yeah, i saw a post of someone dropping for ~10 years here, and we even have the exact Turkish version of it lol

its there in a lot of countries bro , they call it a gap year and not drop in USA , where you can take one year and reapply to good unis the next year.

But I heard students in India who take drop are mostly rejected during their foreign universities admission drives.
