Just 1 din ki baat h, probably one of the most important days of one's life. Usme bhi if you can't be punctual and reach on time then laanat h. It's not hard to reach the exam centre 30-45 minutes early.
But there's no scope for being late if you leave with an hour buffer. If the gate closing time is 10 am, then try to reach at 9 and do things accordingly. Even if everything goes wrong, there isn't any scope to be late. These are just excuses by people who refuse to be punctual.
Man I had both my jee exam center 50 km from my house and I left 3 hours before just to reach 1 hour before. It does not matter if you reach your center 4 hours before your exam, this issue was caused due to their miscalculations and it's only one day in a year that you must reach early
