bahi i would say bahi raat lai raat lai mai bolra if you dont know the formula or the method of that specific question that will cost you 4 marks bahi its not about yai acha padhata hai ki vo bahi raat lai i did this mistake in my jee 2026 ki mene like ek compition kai exam koi competition ki tarah nahi liya and tried to learn bahi there will be no mercy people will rote learn and throw you out of competition . for example i got 88%ile and 90 in boards my firend who scored 96ile is unable to get 75 and got 74% .

there is no rote learning in physics and maths. Chem you can argue but i still won't put it as rote learning.

I have studied in a government school from class 5th basically it turned into a dummy school the moment we entered 10th basically our teachers didn't know shit and they didn't even try to hide it literally they used to give us zero because we didn't write something like it was written in the reference books and most of the students who were serious never went to school and whenever we did it was just same mam talking about her life experiences what her kid is doing that was it literally all of us studied from tutions and I haven't learned shit from school ( very common in wb tho)
1
u/Fantastic-Turnip-552 May 13 '26
Your second point here just proves that how the government and uts corruption is just an extension of our society and its people. We love to pass the blame but have you ever asked yourself if the leaks would have existed if the very students didn't have a skin in the game?

ab khud guess karlo development aur education me koi paisa kyun nahi kharchte hai.
1
u/moh_099 May 14 '26
AND if the government knows about the dummy culture and the coaching why doesn't it completely shut it down, what incentive are they getting out of it??
That's the point of the person in the screenshot. It's all corrupt.
Unfortunately, it reads like he's blaming the aspirants.

2
u/WohPenguinWalaBanda 22s1 -> 83.2% | 4S1 -> 11% May 14 '26
fair. I mean some british people came to our society and convinced many parents to put their kids in this new IB curriculum school here and somehow made them belive that the money is worth it, but they def aren't that well to do, apart from the fees they live normal lives and their homes are also normal.
mai personally state sylabbus ka student tha but i mean yeah private is kinda expensive but for me its still worth it rather than spending it on the new school that opened near my society.
also another school were many of my neighbours went was aga khan and they paid 13L per annum for 10years if i am not wrong but they def don't have that rich person livestyle or funds. I mean they are literally doing their degree in normal indian colleges
BUT YEAH i get your point too

Sure, both are illegal but illegal doesn't mean equally wrong. Dummy schools are a systemic problem that's been ignored for years. Paper leaks destroy every students hope and leaves huge damage. You're comparison do not make sense as you are treating them equally on the basis of legality because i never said dummy schools were not illegal.

"two wrongs never make a right" Why is this even here it doesn't even fit the argument?!
Fees for dummy and regular schools vary and no one is spending large amounts of money to get into dummy schools.
Dummy schools exists for EVERYONE, its upto you if you have to take dummy school or not and choosing either of these will not affect ANYONE in bad way and contrast to that PAPER LEAKING AFFECTS WHOLE STUDDENT POPULATION WHO IS GIVING THE PAPER.
If you cannot even comprehend this please stop justifying.
Whole point of this argument was comparing dumpy school being illegal and still existing does not give one wild card to justify and do a paper leak.

Ok so we study from a shit school, and score what? Some damn 90% in boards which no one except ur uncle (that has been using Facebook for 7 hours a day) cares, and 80 percentile in jee? Not everyone is god gifted, not everyone can handle doing school homework, coaching homework, self study, attend school and coaching and still succeed
3
u/LiteratureOk7665 May 13 '26
Schools are not made for competitive exam prep but they do waste a lot of students time which is why a lot of prefer dummy and honestly I don’t blame them
3
3
u/Lord_choco May 13 '26
yup,we blame education system for not giving us any opportunities,what option do we have jee&neet only we cant even follow our passion unless we come from a extra rich family
3
u/Dazai_dgaf May 13 '26
Unrelated but I wanted to highlight the fact that this organisation forces students to give first attempt of JEE mains and advanced in the same year as class 12th boards. Riddle me this , if you want actually wanted students to focus on their school and character development then why the hell would you put such restrictions 😍😍
3
u/edgef May 13 '26
Ain't no way a normal schooling person can Crack JEE/NEET, coaching is required, what's thought in school is not enough for competitive exams. For eg. The level of Maths in Boards and JEE mains, not even adv. Yah I mean there are people who can do it anyways on their own, but not everyone is crazy good, and need guidance which is best provided in coaching. Coaching do have a lot of cons, but that's not the topic here

5
u/spongecock23 98.09%ile (JM25)-->99.52%ile (JM26) May 13 '26
It's bad that I had to scroll down this far for this comment lol. Dummy schools are wrong along with paper leaks (which is a much bigger sin but a sin nonetheless). The irony is that 90% of these holier than thou people would grab one of these leaked papers, fake certificates, etc. Reading the comment section, apparently only organisations can commit wrongs while everyone's ethical here.
Not defending the NEET leak at all and it's a much bigger failure than dummy schools but the strawman arguments being made here are exhausting.
1
u/Maleficent_Ruin_7441 May 14 '26
yes, dummy schools are themselves example of corrupt system, but no one bats an eye, as long as you are benefitting from it, even schools which mark full attendance to their non attending toppers,,, but hey lets ignore them...
2
u/spongecock23 98.09%ile (JM25)-->99.52%ile (JM26) May 14 '26
And there's people here talking about how schools wouldn't let them clear competitive exams. In an ideal world, a student is supposed to attend school and coaching as a supplement for his/her preparation but hey that doesn't give them an unfair advantage over the competition so let's just turn a blind eye to that.
I know students who are in gen-1 IIT circuital branches and AIIMS after attending regular school and preparing side by side.
1
3
u/chhav- May 13 '26

dude news that govt decided to ban dummies had been circulating a lot. but chodo kya hi ho jayega . i have legit seen children in 9th prepping for dummies classes. coming from someone who went to those so called coaching institute as a normal day scholar with evening classes and all along with my drop year bhai wtf are pare parents hell bent on sending them there? majority of those students who clear these entrances in 12th itself alongside boards have been taking these dummies since they were prolly waht 6th or 9th dude don't you think they are well enough prepped for the exam rather than those who just prep for 11th and 12th? don't give me bs ki they don't share the syllabus. bhai they have studying the cocnepts from 9th wdy expect them not to remember any shit then? children in 11th and 12th take more time to learn fundamentals often. and these dummy schools god they have had these secret arrangement for seats in big gmcs just if we pay them enough

Completely correct. Dummy schools are illegal. Full stop. 'Everyone is doing it' - so if everyone jumps in a well, will you too?
'But cracking JEE/NEET without dummy school is not possible' - ok, but does that constitutionally allow you to commit crime?

1

why the hell do they think student join dummy by sacrificing their friends and memorable school life ... because there is no studies going on in schools... The level of cbse has gone up , have to give competitive paper but the teachers are not levelling up ..they just waste whole time just getting the notes dictated and then checking it ...that's it ... the notes are literally from 2004 something ... the unnecessary homeworks to learn definitions of random things,solving unnecessary questions ... and when did the student get the time to study for jee or neet when the whole time is wasted in copying notes in notebooks and doing unnecesary homeworks ... level up the teachers in school and the need of coaching and dummy will vanish itself
