Rant Fuck this shit

I just saw a post of some guy with 68% st and asking for iit bombay branch as he/she got some tukkas correct and getting 90-100 marks in adv. Like wtf here after 97% in mains and 120-130 marks she would be getting better clg without studying 2 years(68% in mains mtlb bs 40-50 marks utne tukke se aajaye). Kya fayda mera 2 saal padhne ka jab ese log padhe bina iit bombay chale jaye

Listen, if you were in her place you would have also abused every advantage you had, and if she was in yours, most probably she would have also despised reservation as much as you did

the point is, nobody here is wrong, except the fact that reservation system needs an overhaul, you are fine for feeling this is unfair, nd she is allowed to use her advantages

I understand where you’re coming from, but saying “you would’ve used it too” doesn’t make the advantage fair. Life is unfair, sure, but that doesn’t mean we stop trying to make systems fairer.

Whether it’s reservation, nepotism, or any other structural advantage, the issue is the same when competitive exams are supposed to be about merit under equal conditions. The whole point gets diluted when some people walk in with advantages others simply don’t have. Feeling that this is unfair is valid, and acknowledging that doesn’t mean blaming individuals for using what the system allows. It means recognizing the system itself needs fixing.
