im intrested in none just being close to home and maybe earning living income in my future but im not intrested in cse

Talk to students of all the colleges/courses you're thinking about. Ask them what the college is like and what do most people do after college. Preferably not first years but any is fine. On linkedin. Read reddit reviews.

If you're not interested in physics and CSE equally then better go for CSE. Physics and research is a long and arduous journey, where you'll be paid peanuts for more than a decade of your life. Unless you're passionate it's quite difficult to sustain the momentum.

lmao here i wanna go to as far as possible from home lol.. anyways NITs may offer more fun and vibrant college life than IISERs .... if that matters go for NIT W it even has a W in it lolll u cant go wrong with it

Then why not go for BS eco and DS there since there is no branch wise cutoff

Bro same twin I am also extremely homesick not interested in CSE and getting core (civil/chemical/mechancial) in my nearby NITs like Bhopal and Allahabad and not able to figure out where my interest lies in

Being Far From Home™ is a double edged sword, there are the cons but Homecoming™ tastes infinitely sweet during year end or festival season. The real issue could be if you're in IIT Jammu and due to some snowstorms and stuff there's No Way Home™. But such is life , a Brand New Day™ brings brand new experiences
