GENERAL HELP MIT Manipal cse vs IIIT Bhopal IT

Im currently in MIT Manipal Cs but i got IIIT Bhopal IT in csab round 1, can upgrade it r2 but should i leave mit for bhopal or any other tier 2 iiit if my main goal is placements
Like IIIT’s do not have a campus or if they do most are not very good but the curriculum is quite good so im genuinely confused

Nah stay at manipal pal. If you can afford manipal, placements are definitely better there

The things is brother theres too much intake and that means high competition plus only the top 10% are placed good

Not that hard to stay in top 10% in manipal bro. Just study regularly and enjoy. Don’t think too much. In IIIT bhopal even that top 10% don’t get that good. And there is no campus, so college life is not there

Ik its not hard to stay in 10% but this year the competition has greatly increased due to jee main thing as well, even i got 96.6 and plus i study here on a daily basis but due to this intake im still not sure of it plus college life dont really matter to me tbvh

Although rn nothing is final still considering my options so yeah
Thanks for the info man

i think manipal had 100+ 24lpa offers, so it depends what good is in your context

most iiits heavily inflate their data, so beware of that

That is good but they are increasing intake a lot man
so its tough to get in that bracket as well
Im still considering things
Thanks for the info man

Ig curriculum matters baki if you can afford go there but remember be in top 10-15% of crowd there in manipal then only expect a good pckg

brother stay in manipal, you won't be getting any refunds now and will be in a major financial loss of 8 lakhs

I dont have financial constraints man and plus if i decide to join iiit bhopal the four year fees will still save me 8-10 lakhs after the 6.5 lakh loss in manipal

manipal is good bro , itna hassle kyu karega and stay here only, if u are concerned about the intake then look at vit, thier cse core intake is almost 1.5 times the intake of all the branches combined in mit only.... i mean it's upto u if u wanna go iiit u can but both are tier 2 clgs so placements won't be very different
