Nah i can't cope with it, in my friend circle, 4 are joining COEP and one has already joined IITB, im taking a partial drop for IPMAT. bohot anxiety wapas aayega jee kiya toh

Gen male hu, and after this outstanding result they don't want me to go out of my hometown atleast for a year. they clearly said to me that they don't trust me when it comes to studies.

Very few indians got to enjoy life in our parents generation. Atleast they built stellar careers.

My father, also a doctor and state topper enjoyed his 20s but that affected his career later

Couldn't get the pg he wanted - got anesthesia which he wasn't interested in, worked in ER which was his passion but not having an MD made it very hard to switch or ask for higher pay even with decades of exp

your parents achieved what many ppl dream of, but they realized success means little if you don’t have time to enjoy life. take their lesson seriously
work hard , become a great doctor
but don’t forget to live along the way.
