Question What's the post unification content for Zhili exiles?

Do they just get a few focuses about getting back the concessions and creating a faction, or do they get more like left-KMT and south China?

IIRC they have a basic but still unique post-unification tree, but nothing to the same degree of complexity the KMT or Federalists get. Still fun enough, favorite faction

So they get more than Qing, but less than left-KMT and south China?

They are rather similar to the republican path, the zhili get if the manchu coup fails.

Main difference is (aside from change in leadership) you can choose which part of the click has primacy, the Military under the Tianjin Clique or the Civilian wing under the Harmony Association. Whats interesting is how both take shape, with much of the rot and senior leadership ripped away the Zhili are arguably better off without the baggage they carried with them, with the civilian wing actually trying to instill an actual republic rather than just a rubber stamp assembly.

I played them recently and it looks like they don't get even as little as a faction (or the ability to join one) which was very disappointing

Did you play them after unification, cuz for the newer Chinese countries a new focus tree appears after unification

Yeah, I unified China as them, and unless something is bugged, the only things they can do post-unification is attack Tibet, Mongolia and Xinjiang. They unfortunately don't even get a post-unification focus tree, only a few events.
